Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Avi Holtzman, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Draft:The War Trilogy, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, are related to, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, which will be reviewed by other editors. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

If you need help, visit the Teahouse, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! - Reliable sources include: reputable newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and books from respected publishers.
- Unacceptable sources include: personal blogs, social media, predatory publishers, most tabloids, and websites where anyone can contribute.
Wikipedia articles must be written neutrally in a formal, impersonal, and dispassionate way. They should not read like a blog post, advertisement, or fan page. Rewrite the draft to remove:
- promotional language: see Words to watch;
- personal commentary: opinions or direct addresses to the reader;
- informal language.
Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.
If you have a conflict of interest (e.g. you are the subject, an employee, or a relative) or are being paid to edit, you must disclose this to comply with Wikipedia's Terms of Use.Next steps

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]
Hello, Avi Holtzman. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. We ask that you:
- Avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors
- Disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI)
- Propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the Edit Request Wizard), including links or details of reliable sources that support your suggestions
- Avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming)
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation for any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
See the FAQ for article subjects for more information.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Bobby Cohn 🍁 (talk) 15:52, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
- You need to stick to one version of your draft. That is Draft:The War Trilogy (1990–1994). You need to be aware that Wikipedia is not for advertising. You may not remove COI templates on articles that you have drafted. If you are unsure about any of these instructions, you should ask before continuing to spam the project with your creations. [edit]I noticed you have removed some AfC decline templates from your Drafts. Do not do that. They help out future reviewers. Commandant Quacks-a-lot (talk) 15:55, 17 July 2026 (UTC)

LLM-generated pages with certain obvious signs of being machine generated may be deleted without notice.
These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:
- hallucinations: they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
- unencyclopedic tone: they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.
- copyright issues: they may closely paraphrase existing text, leading to copyright violations.
Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

- Thank you for what you wrote. Do not agree with anything you said, if you allow me. It is all written by myself, text which summarizes 35 years of The War Trilogy in exhibitions, collections, publications. All is SUPER verified, the collections in both Nevada Museum of Art and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam have direct links, each showing the entire trilogy - a unique phenomenon in the art world. So what else can I do? What precisely makes you say what you did? How can you attribute this text to hallucination when every single item is quoted by publication, author, tilte, year etc etc etc? Avi Holtzman (talk) 20:26, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Avi Holtzman I was suspicious about every word in all of the headers being capitalized, as that can often be a sign of AI usage. Removing previous decline templates and COI notices also raised some suspicions as well. However, this could also be human written (but is also a duplication of an existing draft as well). EaglesFan37 (talk) 23:03, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
- I have no idea about these things, my world is on another planet. Capitalized, not capitalized - I go according to what it should be. If a header is a Title Case, then all words should be capitalized. This severe attention to detail is what brought me to where I am now - and my work. So what now? You did not say anything about how I should proceed. I am 74 and I need to leave a living record of my life work, accessible to all future generations, and you suspect my capitalization... I good faith, please tell me what now. Avi Holtzman (talk) 07:35, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Avi Holtzman, sorry you've been having trouble with this. It looks to me like this work is very likely to meet our inclusion guidelines. I don't have time to help you with this right now (sorry), but you can try asking for help at WP:TEA. In solidarity, asilvering (talk) 16:25, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
- Of the two drafts, please continue to work on this one: Draft:The War Trilogy (1990–1994). It's much better than the other. In solidarity, asilvering (talk) 16:26, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
- Also, sorry for the multiple messages - but do you have any sources, such as newspaper articles and so on, about you, not just the art? That would be helpful. In solidarity, asilvering (talk) 16:29, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for the guidance, asilvering, much appreciated. I have consolidated the master draft at Draft:The War Trilogy (1990–1994) as suggested. I have updated the master draft text to include the precise issue and print page counts for the Katalog and Portfolio monograph features to satisfy the secondary coverage requirements.To answer your question regarding biographical press: any coverage written about me throughout my career has been strictly in the context of my art. I am the work, and the work is me; outside the art narrative, I have no public biographical element. Furthermore, this article is intended strictly and exclusively to document the institutional record of The War Trilogy itself. I am 74 years of age and should we come to the point that a major interview is done with me upon reaching 75, I will most enthusiastically add it to the current article.
