Out of curiosity...

... you semiprotected this page on August 12, 2014, which seems to be a heck of a long time ago. I might understand if it was a contentious page, but it just deals with an american dish, and the accident originating it seems to happen within a day or two. Looking at it from the outside, a 3/4 days (even a week) long protection would have been more sensible, I think. 79.40.43.123 (talk) 20:48, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Well, thanks for unprotecting the Jambalaya page. 79.40.43.123 (talk) 18:56, 6 March 2018 (UTC)

Dear Sir, When i asked her about her Date of Birth, Birth Place, etc. She told me all these things. So please tell me what i can do now?

Thanks for clarifying my query. Please tell me the solution of this too. Xenon One (talk) 19:22, 6 March 2018 (UTC)

Dear Sir, Should i screenshot her message and show you? Xenon One (talk) 19:54, 6 March 2018 (UTC)

I'm showing you the proof. What's the problem in this? Xenon One (talk) 19:59, 6 March 2018 (UTC)

So, shall i add the screenshot or her own recording saying "her date of birth and place"? Xenon One (talk) 20:03, 6 March 2018 (UTC)

How do i know that "the news piece is correct" ?

As you know not all things shown in the media are true? For example things related to Donald Drumpf or something like that. I mean if the person "herself" is not a reliable source then how can "Wikipedia" trust those "news piece" ?

How can a person lie about "her" Date of birth and place?? It doesn't seem to be logicaal at all!

One can lie about possession of arms, etc. like Sanjay Dutt But how the date of birth!? She must not be a thief, right?

Give me atleast three examples of "the actresses who lied about their Date of Birth"

Ok, I've accepted my defeat. You won.

Bad Blood renewed

Hey again. Take a look at this http://rogersmediatv.ca/pr_detail.php?id=1452 . They renewed Bad Blood (miniseries) for a second season. Please add anything else you see in there that is worth mention. We had a little conversation previously about its viewership, where it didn't show up in the top 10 from that site you mentioned, but I ended up finding some info from a newspaper article noting around 250,000 Canadian viewers for the first two episodes. This source above says it reached a total of 3.2 million Canadian viewers. I don't know what to make of this as if the 250,000 stayed on track for all 6 episodes it would be only 1.5 million? They must be including some other modes? Oh, also, we wouldn't put 2 seasons and 6+8 new episodes = 14 episodes in the info box yet would we? Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 00:09, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

Trolls

Saw your back and forth with Nixon Now. You're are sterling editor. In general I don't think it's productive to feed the trolls.104.163.147.121 (talk) 20:44, 8 March 2018 (UTC)

Alexandra de Scheel

Man, I'm really sorry, but I had to clean up that disaster at Alexandra de Scheel. I'm afraid that some of it looked like a BLP problem, and I'm still not convinced that the political site isn't a parody. I know it's bad form to gut a page while it's at AFD, so I've noted this and voted there as well. Kuru (talk) 00:16, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

User:Rbond7 created as an article

Hi Bearcat, this is a urgent message Some user name User:Rbond7 have created as an article and misusing Wikipedia from its userpage. This is an urgent messgage could you go to the user page titled User:Rbond7 it has a lot of categories from it's userpage and also could you remove a lot of categories and tell User:Rbond7 to never put categories on its userpage because it was misused. Thanks for your understanding. 2001:569:7C07:2600:554E:C15:EA8D:B82C (talk) 01:32, 17 March 2018 (UTC)

Regarding your deletion of my Elites of Eden article

Hello. I am trying to contact you in regards for your deletion of my article I created. (Or, at least, tried to create.) I have done the same thing to create the Children of Eden article, and it has never been deleted once. I'd just like to understand your reasoning, so I can possibly do something for myself to get this article up and running. Thank you, 1bcdbackup (talk) 07:46, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Regarding your moving of my Pat Ahern (Siamsa Tire) to Pat Ahern (Director)

Dear Bearcat, Unfortunately I have only now spotted the change you made. I would ask you to revert the title to my original one. You see, Pat Ahern has not been director of the Irish National Folk Theatre for a decade now, and the title is therefore misleading. He is the founder of the Folk Theatre, Siamsa Tire, and everybody associates him with that. I would be most obliged if you would undo the change you made as I find that I cannot. Best regards Scríobhaí (talk) 16:04, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

I see now why my disambiguation was not acceptable; 'musician', though not ideal, would be ok. I would be very grateful if you could effect the change for me, as I am not an experienced Wikipedian. Thanks so much for your help. Scríobhaí (talk) 07:17, 19 March 2018 (UTC)

Chad McNamara

Hi Bearcat, If you go thru his Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/chadmcnamara/ you can see that he lives with his partner. And in a post from November 4, 2017, He captioned a photo with "@chadmcnamara: My man making me an end table. That's love. #fall #woodworking #saturday #imwatchingfigureskating" and one user commented "@32whatismylife: @chadmcnamara not trying to be mean? are you gay" and Chad replied "@chadmcnamara: @32whatismylife was it 'my man' or figure skating that gave it away." Clearly he's gay. I do my research. Add the category back if you want, I provided with enough, If you want to go thru his account be my guess. Also in a more recent post from January 2, 2018, He caption a photo with "@chadmcnamara: Happy 2018 from our family to yours. Now get me to a beach." The photo pictures Chad with his partner and their 2 dogs.

Steve Hannagan I have resubmitted the article on March 21, 2018. I am not sure how to interpet the comment that the Steve Hannagan was not notable. He developed many of the modern techniques of press and public relations. There is no single book about him. However, there were many articles written about him in major magazines like Life, Colliers, Scribners, Time, etc. Mtownsley (talk) 02:12, 22 March 2018 (UTC)

Canadian Screen Awards

Hi! Sorry for the late reply! TBH, I don't know which section is appropriate for the Fan Choice Awards. We can't put them under Film, TV or Digital media as all actors are not attached to a specific film, TV show or digital show when nominations for these are announced. Having a sole section just for a Fan Choice Award might be too much for just one category. Janbryan (talk) 03:00, 24 March 2018 (UTC)

JUNO Editing event

Hi Bearcat. Just letting you know we're having an event tonight at Toronto Reference. Info here: Wikipedia:Meetup/Indigenous_Musicians. Thanks for all your work on Canadian music! And, can you let me know how to undo a redirect to a group article for individual musicians? I want to add individual pages for some folks (DJ Shub for example). Help appreciated. Smallison (talk) 16:55, 22 March 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for your help and responses! We were a small group so only got through a few pages. I'm working up a DJ Shub article and I'll try the "redirect" instructions when it's ready. We're going to be starting a GTA Indigenous Wiki group (IndigiWiki) and we'll be hosting more events. I'll let you know when/where. The TPL meeting was on fairly short notice. Smallison (talk) 18:54, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
Thanks again! I (finally) added the page for DJ Shub following your instructions.--Smallison (talk) 12:36, 5 April 2018 (UTC)

Gillian Jerome

Hi Bearcat! Thanks for supporting the article getting moved to the userspace/draftspace. I'm working with the student on the issues in the article, specifically notability, tone, and sourcing. I've found some coverage for her poetry - there's a university press book that has covered her fairly well, along with a few reviews of her work. I think that and her work founding CWILA should help resolve the notability issue for the most part, although I've asked the student to keep searching for non-primary sources. Part of the issue here is that the good stuff is a little buried and harder to find, so I can see where the student could've missed it. As such I'm focusing slightly more on the promotional tones and working with the student to tone down the article. That's going to be a little harder since this will need to be edited down quite a bit. (Also my fingers are itching to edit it myself, but my job is more to assist the student than to do any direct editing, otherwise they lose out on the learning potential.)

Anywho, thanks again! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:35, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

  • Hi! I was wondering if you could take a look at the article again. I think that notability has been established via the reviews for her work and the student and I have done some work with reducing the promotional prose. We're still working on that last part, but I wanted to get your opinion on this to see if we've saved it or are very close to doing this. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:28, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
  • I just wanted to say thanks for being so understanding with the page - I know that it was definitely problematic when it was first posted live, so I'm glad that you took it to AfD as opposed to speedying it, as this gave the student time to work on it. Canadian Screen Awards

I noticed that you moved a couple of award articles to Canadian Screen Awards. I haven't seen anything saying these categories are a continuation of the Gemini Awards. If you can show where they these categories are a continuation, that would be appreciated. If they are, it should be referenced. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 17:32, 6 April 2018 (UTC)
