Hello Berber.Enjoyer2! Your additions to Draft:The Dutch-Algerian War (1715-1726) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. .

Hello, I'm Zsohl. I noticed that in this edit to Algerian–American War (1785–1795), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Zsohl(Talk) 16:19, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hope you're doing great! You have beaten me on this article Idah War (1515 – 1516), I actually planned to create it. I have moved the article to a more appropriate location, Igala–Benin War (1515 – 1516). Nice job man! Vanderwaalforces (talk) 12:17, 18 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, first, thank you for your message but i have a question, why did you change the name of the war ?Berber.Enjoyer2 (talk) 18:22, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Berber.Enjoyer2 Hi there! The war was between the Igala Kingdom and the Benin Kingdom that is why I had to retitle it. Source I have consulted all acknowledge that it is more appropriate to call it Igala-Benin War. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 16:16, 20 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Berber.Enjoyer2 and @Vanderwaalforces, can anyone provide the page numbers for the books and journals cited? This will aid in more verification. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 08:32, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Reading Beans I have formatted the references now. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 08:43, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Bombardment of Tripoli (1728) moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Bombardment of Tripoli (1728). Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because absolutely no inline citations make the whole article unverifiable, despite the 'sources and bibliography' section. The facts in the article require attribution to a reliable source.. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Alexandermcnabb (talk) 10:24, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ok, thank you for the clarification. Please make sure to read and review Wikipedia:Sockpuppetry, to make sure you don't accidentally misuse multiple accounts. If you don't use the other account again in the future, there should be no problem. For your convenience, I have added a template on your other account's page (User:Berber.Enjoyer) to clarify that it is linked to you and so that you are in compliance with Wikipedia:Sockpuppetry#Legitimate uses (in that link you'll also find a link to other templates you can use instead if you want). edit

Hi Berber.Enjoyer2, is there any connection or communication between you and Seniorjackfr? Because both of you created separate articles about the exact same subject within mere hours of each other: Swedish-Algerian War of 1791 and Swedish-Algerian War (1791–1792). R Prazeres (talk) 18:02, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi,no there is not i just saw his page but it was desastrous and full of errors(he don't know the subject) so i decided to create the page. One of the biggest error of the page Swedish-Algerian War of 1791 is the date.Berber.Enjoyer2 (talk) 20:07, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ok, thank you for your clarification. I will leave a new comment on Talk:Swedish-Algerian War (1791–1792) so that a solution can be discussed there. In the future, however, if you see an article that has problems you should improve it (and discuss disagreements on its talk page if necessary) rather than creating a duplicate article, which makes more problems. Alright, don't hesitate to ask for help if you're not sure how to do something. To avoid making other reviewers accidentally waste their time, please try to check that you haven't submitted any other obsolete drafts. You should be able to unsubmit them I believe. Old drafts will be deleted automatically if you stop editing them for 6 months, but there's also an easy process to delete drafts that you can follow here. I hope that helps in the future. Request reason:

As for the situation regarding the modification made to the user page user:ⵟⵓⵔⴽⵉⵙⵀⴽⴰⴱⵢⵍ, I want to clarify that it was a misunderstanding. The intention was solely to add the term "Algerian" alongside "Moroccan" to acknowledge the historical significance of the Almohads in Algerian history. Upon examining the revisions of the user's previous page, I fail to see how user:ⵟⵓⵔⴽⵉⵙⵀⴽⴰⴱⵢⵍ could be considered my second account. While there may be some similarities, such as the similarity in our names, with theirs being "Aylen" and mine "Aylan," it's worth noting that "Aylan" is a common name in Algeria. Additionally, our ethnic backgrounds differ; I am of Kabyle descent, whereas the user's ancestors are Arab-Turkish (Khoulighouli). I hope this clarifies the situation regarding the potential "second account" user:ⵟⵓⵔⴽⵉⵙⵀⴽⴰⴱⵢⵍ.Berber.Enjoyer2 (talk) 16:25, 18 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

STOP making multiple simultaneous unblock requests. It's abusive. If nobody's responding, that's your problem. Your unblock request is not sufficient to convince anyone.
