Happy New Year Czar!
editCzar,
Have a prosperous, productive and enjoyable New Year, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. Snuggums (talk / edits) 06:07, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
I think you should spend more time in productive work, and less in pouncing on others who see their work to correct errors in pages reverted by mindless morons with hurt feelings. Read WP:OWNER.--62.30.226.91 (talk) 00:06, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- I'm familiar. You can disagree with the other editor's work and bring it to a talk page discussion if you'd like, but it's inappropriate to call them a "moron". Leaving you a template message to that effect is hardly pouncing, and resolving the quarrel by editing it myself is hardly unproductive work. Best wishes in the New Year, czar ⨹ 00:13, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

RE: Jim Metzger
edit- @GaiaSavior01, I blanked your post because it contained some unvetted charges that go against our policy on biographies of living people. It appears that you're not here to write an encyclopedia but to carry out some personal business. For an understanding of what is and isn't allowed here, see "what Wikipedia is not". As for your questions about Metzger's life, I'm not the person to answer them. I don't know him, I don't maintain his article, and I frankly have little interest in him. WP gives articles to people who significant coverage in multiple reliable, independent sources. (?) Unless your argument is that Metzger doesn't have this, you're not going to get much of an audience. There are plenty other non-Metzger areas in which you can contribute, though. czar ⨹ 20:07, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

The Revivalry – A Tribute to Running Wild
editGreetings. I have added an article (The Revivalry - A Tribute to Running Wild) with details about a Running Wild (band) tribute album; however, despite my efforts to make the article comply with guidelines, it has been repeatedly redirected to the band's page. I have added a citation to a published book that references the album. I have also added categories and even a stub tag. Is there something more that needs to be done? Thanks for the assistance. Regards, hexC0DE (talk) 20:32, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
- Hi @Hexc0de, there was a (relatively underpopulated) discussion that resulted in redirecting the tribute album's article. Even with a single source, there are not enough reliable, independent sources that discuss the topic (the tribute album) in enough depth to warrant its own article, so the next step is to write about the topic at its parent article (the one about the band). (The idea is that we don't have enough sources to say more than a sentence or two about the subject.) If you have reliable and independent sources, you can add a sentence or two at the band's article. czar ⨹ 20:47, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
Request for a Draft Merge

- @Captain Assassin!, ✓ done. There was some history in mainspace that looked connected to the draft so I histmerged rather than delete+move'd. "The BFG" drafts merge
editHello Czar, will you please take a look at these two drafts Draft:The BFG (film) and Draft:The BFG (2016 film)? I think the first one should be histmerged into the second one with "2016" in it's dab. Is it possible and good to be merged? --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 04:05, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
- You did not reply yet. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 04:14, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
- Not without making a mess—the latter's history fits in the middle of the former's without a clear break. At least for now, it would probably make the most sense to redirect the "2016 film" draft to the "film" draft, which has enough content to not even need the former's content. czar ⨹ 13:18, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
- That's better, but if it's easy to merge than do it. Otherwise just do the redirect as think is better. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 16:23, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Review of Education
editThe article Review of Education has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable, relatively new journal. Not indexed in any selective databases, no independent sources. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Randykitty (talk) 17:17, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Just asking
editHello Czar! I've a question, is histmerge possible or not when just a single edit in both articles overlap (both same dates)? --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 04:08, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
- It depends? If the article was a cut-and-paste move and that conflicting edit is the "pasted" copy of the old article, it would be deleted, so it's workable. If it's two different drafts, and they do not have a clean break between them, it gets messy. In reality, histmerging is only necessary when the stuff being merged in needs attribution to be preserved. If they're your edits to be merged, most histmerge admins will just suggest that you copy and paste your work over the current article and redirect the old version, since the attribution will be the same (attributed to you). If a single edit overlaps, it still requires a complex deletion and restoring technique (as described on the histmerge info page). I'm happy to oblige when the histmerge is reasonable, when attribution would otherwise be hard to preserve, but it otherwise makes sense to simply merge one's own edits, as mentioned. Otherwise, histmerging with the only real effect of changing the "first" edit to the page is a game not worth playing. czar ⨹ 12:44, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah I got it. I'll let you know if I got into situation. Thanks. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 17:41, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

Sifuentes
editRe: The deletion of Marcelino Bautista Sifuentes. The content on the page provided multiple valid sources from both print and web content and image files in question were listed with the appropriate copy right tags and permissions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.34.59.177 (talk) 16:54, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
- I closed that deletion discussion based on the consensus of the editors involved. I found their rationales valid when I checked them myself. For more information on what kind of sources articles need, I recommend the readings off of WP:42. The images related to that article both credited authorship without any explicit sign of their permission. There are directions on the page that explain how the author can confirm their consent to use a Wikipedia-compatible license. czar ⨹ 01:59, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
Question
editWhy is American Thinker unreliable? Just curious. Yours, Quis separabit? 22:46, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
- There were two conversations about it in the WP:RSN archives, in 2008 and 2010, if I recall correctly, though the 2008 was more definitive. The short of it is that it doesn't have a reputation for fact-checking or accuracy. czar ⨹ 22:49, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
- Update (posted before your reply but hit edit conflict): I did review this reference to American Thinker but it does not appear to automatically disqualify the site from being used as a reference source in all circumstances. Anyway, Quis separabit? 22:51, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
- Right, that 2010 conversation was about citing it for partisan opinion. The 2008 was about using it as a reliable source for facts. Anyway, the site doesn't have a posted editorial policy or similar assurances in its About Us, so it's safe to hold the 2008 consensus. czar ⨹ 22:54, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

Skyword Page Deletion
editHello Czar,
Hope you're well. I'm writing to ask why the page for Skyword was deleted. Skyword.com still operates as a business, and I would like to find out how we can help get the page reinstated. Here are the notes: 05:05, 21 December 2014 Czar (talk | contribs) deleted page Skyword (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Skyword closed as Delete) Skyword (talk) 18:51, 12 February 2015 (UTC)Skyword
- There was a discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Skyword and the consensus was to delete the article. The participants said the article lacked significant coverage in multiple reliable, independent sources. (?) Not every business has enough coverage to warrant its own article. Our conflict of interest guidelines also recommend not making pages about your own organization, perhaps most importantly to preserve impartiality and critical distance from the subject. Hope to see you around on other articles, but it looks like you'll need to change your username first. czar ⨹ 03:00, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

You have a Reddit thread devoted to you
editOn KotakuInAction (the GamerGate forum) - apparently the fact that you wrote a bunch of wiki articles on Tim Rogers and related subjects (along with, you know, 50 bajillion other articles safely ignored) means that you're some sort of SJW secret agent and possibly secretly Tim Rogers himself. Or something, there's not really anything resembling logic there. --PresN 08:18, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- @PresN, apart from your comment, my favorites are the highly upvoted ones at the end. For posterity:
Anyway, I never responded to this because all of my potential retorts were too snarky. I appreciate your letting me know, though, and will say that (1) it's scary how something so baseless gets so highly upvoted (over 750!) in a place with a motto of "trust but verify", (2) it's encouraging how many comments were from people expressing dismay that something so unverified was being so highly trusted, (3) I half wanted them to realize that I wrote the Fez series of articles just to see what would happen, (4) one of the early comments that mentioned that Rogers wasn't returning emails hit it right on the head—we have no prior connection. czar ⨹ 12:21, 2 April 2015 (UTC)· How the fuck does this post have 728 points as of now when basically every single comment is disagreeing with it?
And yes, Tim Rogers is a pretty cool guy and not even close to an "SJW." People need to stop fucking using that term to refer to anyone who ever expresses an opinion they don't like.
The fact that this post has a "VERIFIED" tag makes me fucking livid. I might be done with this sub forever.
· Gotta say it, the SJW witch hunt is getting a little ridiculous now.
Yeah this shit is stupid. The 600+ upvotes and 50-something comments means that people are getting more circlejerk-happy than anything on this board. Don't get me wrong, I'm guilty of this too, but this one in particular made me really feel bad. inb4 shill etc.
· TR is a cool dude. Stop talking shit.
· ... I don't know, I'd just like to see something to latch onto here. Digging up dirt on the guy over a five year old article just feels fishy, like we're being baited.
Hi Czar, regarding File:Apple Pay promotional hero.jpg, while you are correct that any conceivable replacement image would be a derivative work, and thus could only be used under a claim of fair use, it is generally required that things like this be "less infringing" if possible. With this image, there is not only the copyright of the creator of the cards to consider, but also the copyright of the photographer. If it were replaced with a completely 2D screenshot from the app (one that doesn't show the iPhone at all) or were replaced with a photo that included the phone but where the photographer disclaims their copyright or releases it under an acceptable license, then it is considered to be more free. Please see WP:FREER. --B (talk) 12:16, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
- The copyright of the creator of the cards and of the photographer would be the same in this matter, no? The shot was provided by Apple. (In any event, the NFCC1 dated speedy rationale would still be invalid.) Also got a second opinion here: User talk:Masem#File:Apple Pay promotional hero.jpg czar ⨹ 18:12, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
- That second opinion is not consistent with our practices. You are correct that some of the cards themselves are copyrighted and so for the sake of being "freer", we should use a screenshot that shows only {{PD-ineligible}} designs (for instance, a screenshot showing only the Chase freedom card or another that has no creative elements). --B (talk) 18:50, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
- However, you are correct that this is not a NFCC #1 issue. I will remove the tag and nominate it for deletion. --B (talk) 18:56, 7 March 2015 (UTC)

Greetings Czar, may this notification find you well. Please consider a restoral for the referenced subject article. This is a Request for F. Gregory Holland. The subject article was previously in a deletion review process. Pardon any unintentional lack of contributory remarks to the deletion review discussion. As with any new editor, learning and ascertaining many of the editing procedures in accordance with the policy of the dictionary may in some instances require time and concise understanding. Ongoing editing is intended with the subject article. While consensus was apparently reached to proceed with deletion, editing so as to address the WP: Notability requirements for musicians and composers can currently be addressed. Steps were being taken to address this issue prior to the deletion tag. Additional information is currently available, and continues to be procured in order to adhere to notability and additional article linking. The inclusion of these items should facilitate making improvements to the subject article. Thank you in advance for your consideration (Greg's wiki (talk) 20:59, 14 March 2015 (UTC)).
- Hi @Greg's wiki, thanks for contacting me. Two questions: (1) Do you have any new reliable, secondary, independent sources (?) that you would be adding to the article? Multiple experienced editors looked for such sources and couldn't find any. (2) Do you have any affiliation with the subject? czar ⨹ 21:04, 14 March 2015 (UTC)

editYour reply is sincerely appreciated Czar. Yes. Having said that, that does not preclude such sources from being challenged by others. However logistically, one would presume that the inclusion of such sources could attribute to the improvement of the article. Thank you in advance for your consideration (Greg's wiki (talk) 21:21, 14 March 2015 (UTC)).
- @Greg's wiki, that's "yes" to which of the two questions? If you have new sources that would overturn the rationale used in the linked deletion discussion, I would like to see and consider them. If you have an affiliation with the source, I would want to know that you've read our COI guidelines before continuing. czar ⨹ 21:28, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
Restoral Consideration Subject Article- F. Gregory Holland
editMy apologies Czar. That yes was intended as a affirmative in each regard. The COI has been previously reviewed. That said, there is no opposition to ensuring neutrality and adhering to COI guidelines. Gathering multiple sources and having additional assistance to facilitate editing is preferable as well. It's helpful to know however, that the article is not completely purged, so that it can be improved upon and retained within the dictionary. Thank you in advance for your consideration (Greg's wiki (talk) 21:50, 14 March 2015 (UTC)).
- @Greg's wiki, the article will remain deleted unless you have sources (reliable, secondary, independent, as mentioned) that were absent from the deletion discussion, otherwise that decision holds. We don't keep WP articles that don't meet that bare minimum criteria for sourcing. Also I don't know about your previous COI review, if you could answer what your relation is to the subject or at least show me where that was discussed. Editors are highly discouraged from editing in areas where they have conflicts of interest. That usually means that they submit edits for other people to consider and don't make direct edits themselves. czar ⨹ 22:03, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
Greetings. There was no formal COI review. Pardon me Czar. No confusion intended. I simply wanted to convey that I understand Wikipedia’s position regarding potential conflicts of interest. Perhaps you can advise if there is a preferred method to build upon the article currently. Can the deleted article be placed within the sandbox to build upon? I ask in that I am not familiar with the procedure, given the current status.
In terms of an additional reliable source, at this time there is a recent noteworthy acknowledgement from Reverb Nation. This is referenced entity in the dictionary. This source is in relationship to musical chart status. A link could be forwarded for review. Access is available to additional publications for source reference purposes. At this point it would be preferable to add items a little bit at a time. Thank you in advance for your consideration (Greg's wiki (talk) 22:54, 14 March 2015 (UTC)).
- @Greg's wiki, sorry if I wasn't clear. Chances are more likely than not that I will not be restoring the article. There was a deletion discussion and the reasoned conclusion was that there were not enough reliable, secondary, independent sources to support an article on the topic. If you have such sources that you think would change the circumstances of the article's deletion, I'm happy to take a look. Otherwise, the consensus was clear against keeping the article. czar ⨹ 03:38, 15 March 2015 (UTC)

Greetings Czar, May this transmission find you well. Please advise if the prior entry was reviewed by you. In response to the entry, commentary was made by another user. The source reference noted was provided in good faith and is valid information, according to the source. Other sources are currently available. New sources are also continuing to be procured as well. It's my understanding that there are other dictionaries outside the actual framework of Wikipedia, that perhaps may consider the inclusion of the subject article in the event there is no restoration. Thank in advance for your consideration(Greg's wiki (talk) 19:12, 17 March 2015 (UTC)).
- @Greg's wiki, I think Orangemike sufficiently covered it. I said I'd need multiple reliable, independent sources (?) and the ReverbNation is a single source that is not secondary or reliable. It's ostensibly based on social media stats and had no actual text we can use to construct a full article about the band. I'm left to believe at this point that there is no basis for reinstating the article. I hope you'll stick around to edit in other, unaffiliated topics. czar ⨹ 01:15, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
Hi Czar,
Thank you very much for the follow-up. I do sincerely welcome the additional clarification with respect to ReverbNation. I presume that you are aware that there are plenty of articles within the dictionary, in a like category similar to that of the subject article, which have cited ReverbNation as one of several sources.
My purpose in this regard is not to suggest that the inclusion of such source in relationship to any article within a similar category is an issue or not, just that there have been some instances in which its mentioned as a source. That said, I would agree that it is more prudent to have several sources deemed reliable, that do not necessarily weigh heavily on metrics and factors such as social media.
Given your overview thus far, perhaps what would be more practical is to submit alternate sources for your review. Also please advise if 2-3 reliable and secondary sources will suffice and can be utilized in conjunction with the original article, currently archived. Your assistance is greatly appreciated (Greg's wiki (talk) 05:12, 18 March 2015 (UTC)).
- As I've said in my previous responses. Nothing else to add. czar ⨹ 12:08, 18 March 2015 (UTC)

- "Reviews: Saints Row 2". Electronic Gaming Monthly. No.235, Pg.74. December 2008. ISSN 1058-918X.
- NOTE: If you want to credit the individual writers, Tyler = Tyler Barber, Mike N = Mike Nelson, and G. Ford = Greg Ford. That's according to a key on pg.63. The Executive Editor of the "Reviews" section is Ryan Scott, and the editor-in-chief of the magazine is James Mielke. Not sure who you'd prefer to list as the author.
- "Reviews: Action - Saints Row 2". PC Gamer. Summer 2009. Pg.61. ISSN 1080-4471.
- NOTE: Obviously this isn't p.70 from the March 2009 issue, but I don't have that issue and this is the closest I could find. It's a review from the special Summer 2009 issue which is a giant 101-game review issue. I couldn't track down the identity of the author of this specific review, but the magazine's editor-in-chief is Gary Steinman so that should be sufficient if you need a person to credit.
General note: Sorry for the not-so-wonderful image quality. I don't have scanner access right now and this is a photograph. And the lighting is not ideal and it's a bit blurry. Regarding the main template
editHello, Czar. I hope everything is going well with you. Concerning the {{main}} template, I'm aware that it automatically inserts the section symbol where appropriate, but my intent in modifying the label was to adjust the italicization of the game's title. When spans of italicized text are nested within one another, the general practice is to alternate between using and not using italics, no? I'm thinking along the lines, The quick brown fox plays Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary while jumping over the lazy dog. (I know, it's a terrible example.) Because the template automatically italicizes all displayed text, is it not logical to use a label to tweak this functionality here? The documentation seems to suggest it is. I look forward to reading your thoughts. Thank you. —zziccardi (talk) 05:30, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
- @Zziccardi, I used to do the same thing myself, but I think it ended up defeating the purpose of the template's style, which uses italics as emphasis. Unitalicizing the italics (to indicate a creative work) ends up looking like a mistake and doesn't actually inform the reader about its nature as a creative work. I also could find no established consensus where such a practice of unitalicizing italics in hatnotes was desirable. I would bring it up for discussion and have it written into the documentation if you think such a distinction is still necessary. czar ⨹ 10:30, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
- Hello, again. While I don't believe it's absolutely necessary to un-italicize the titles of major works within hatnotes, I also don't think it could hurt. Seeing that the main template automatically indents the generated text, and that everything but the creative work's title would be italicized, distinguishing the hatnotes from the text of the article proper shouldn't be too much of an issue. If you think it's worth discussing, trying to reach consensus as to whether such a practice is agreeable sounds good to me. —zziccardi (talk) 23:48, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
- As I said, I think it's better to default to the automatic formatting, the one that italicizes both the creative work and the section title. (Additionally I don't think it's worth the effort of reformatting all such hatnotes.) If you disagree, though, I suggest achieving some kind of consensus on the template's talk page before systematically changing them. czar ⨹ 10:25, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
- Okay, in that case I'll leave the formatting alone. Thanks again for your input. —zziccardi (talk) 14:29, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

- @GamerPro64, interesting find—thanks for sharing it. The story appears to be more about Lego and marketing than about journalism ethics and Polygon. Even if I were to add on a sentence on the story, it would seem out of place since there wasn't any actual ethical hubbub apart from forums—almost seems like a non-story from that regard. Anyway, let me know if you have any ideas czar ⨹ 20:24, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- That's a good point. Maybe it can work in the Lego Dimensions page in some way? GamerPro64 20:27, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- Definitely. I did find another article on Ars for Polygon, though. Adding it now. czar ⨹ 20:28, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Rare spelling
editHi, which consensus did you mean? I thought all Rare articles used that form of spelling per ENGVAR? ☠ Jaguar ☠ 20:06, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Jaguar, edit consensus is to use the existing format, as in that the article has used AmEng and MDY formatting for a long time. There is no cross-article consensus that Rareware articles use BritEng and the only relevant guideline would be strong national ties to a topic, which is for towns or wars that have a, well, strong affiliation with a nationality. Rareware, or any product developed somewhere, is not that. If it may appear that all Rareware (or Rockstar) articles use BritEng, it is because editors have continued to misapply strongnat unilaterally. The slow march of history aside, there is no reason to change the date and language format of Donkey Kong Country without a consensus otherwise. czar ⨹ 12:28, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks I got confused there; I think ENGVAR would benefit from an update but that would probably be best for another time (don't want to get banned again)! I don't know why but I've always wrote with both. The 90s' Rareware games are on my list for future GAs and I'm pulling everything I got at getting DKC to GA soon, thankfully it's one of those games where there are a lot of sources available (I even have physical sources). I think Donkey Kong Country would benefit from staying neutral for the sake of stability (and my sanity) ☠ Jaguar ☠ 17:55, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
Re:EGM scans
editHey, Czar. Bad news: Game Rankings has a habit of misreporting review dates, particularly for EGM. I checked the issue in question and (as I suspected) it contained nothing about SML. All is not lost, though. The EGM review for SML 1 is in issue #3 on Retromags. (EGM #38 has the SML 2 review, but, to my knowledge, it isn't available online. Check N-Force #8 for an alternative SML 2 review.) SML 1 and 3 have summary reviews in Super Play #23. Another SML 1 review is in GamePro #5. EGM's review of SML 3 should be in either #55 or #57, which aren't in my collection but may be found online. Hope these are useful. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 22:22, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, JB. Went through the SML1 stuff, SML2 and 3 are next. czar ⨹ 12:55, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (film)
editPlease move Draft:Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (film) to Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (film) - Thanks. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 03:26, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- ✓ done. The book article's sourcing is weak at the moment—does it meet the general notability guideline by itself? Otherwise may be worth merging the book and film together at the location without the disambiguator. czar ⨹ 12:55, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
Newspapers.com check-in
editHello Czar,
You are receiving this message because you have a one-year subscription to Newspapers.com through the Wikipedia Library. This is a brief update, to remind you about that access:
- Please make sure that you can still log in to your Newspapers.com account. If you are having trouble let me know.
- Remember, if you find this source useful for your Wikipedia work, to include citations with links on Wikipedia. Links to partner resources are one of the few ways we can demonstrate usage and demand for accounts to our partners. The greater the linkage, the greater the likelihood a useful partnership will be renewed. Also, keep in mind that part of Newspapers.com is open access via the clipping function. Clippings allow you to identify particular articles, extract them from the original full sheet newspaper, and share them through unique URLs. Wikipedia users who click on a clipping link in your citation list will be able to access that particular article, and the full page of the paper if they come from the clipping, without needing to subscribe to Newspapers.com. For more information about how to use clippings, see http://www.newspapers.com/basics/#h-clips .
- Do you write unusual articles using this partner's sources? Did access to this source create new opportunities for you in the Wikipedia community? If you have a unique story to share about your contributions, let me know and we can set up an opportunity for you to write a blog post about your work with one of our partner's resources.
Finally, we would greatly appreciate it if you filled out this short survey. Your input will help us to facilitate this particular partnership, and to discover what other partnerships and services the Wikipedia Library can offer.
Thank you,

DYK for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
editOn 18 April 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Source question
editHi Czar. I'm gathering sources for an article on the early "Arcade Alley" column written by Bill Kunkel and two others. I am on the lookout for Kunkel's 2005 book, Confessions of the Game Doctor and I saw you'd mentioned it in this thread. Do you have a copy of the book and if so could you take a look to see if it covers "Arcade Alley" or Video magazine in any detail? -Thibbs (talk) 13:29, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Thibbs, I don't (should have), but I'd try @PresN and WT:VG to see if anyone else does. If not, I can interlibrary loan it—just let me know czar ⨹ 13:45, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- OK, no worries. I may be able to get my hands on it via another source as well. Secondly I'm curious if you've got the Project MUSE access thing working yet? I saw that you got approved close to the same time I did and I was wondering if you'd gotten to step #4 under "What to expect with TWL account processing". I've filled out the emailed Google form with the required information and I've been waiting for weeks for a reply. If something's gone wrong I'll contact the WP liaison coordinator. -Thibbs (talk) 17:51, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- Pretty sure I'm in the same boat. Sometimes it takes them a while to divvy things out, but let's ping@Nikkimaria just in case czar ⨹ 18:05, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- You are both on the list of approved editors that was sent to the folks at MUSE a couple weeks back - I will check with them what the status is with regards to distribution of logins. Nikkimaria (talk) 18:27, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks Nikkimaria. No rush, by the way. I was just hoping I hadn't missed an email or something. Anyway I appreciate your looking into this for us. You were the one I was referring to as the "WP liaison coordinator" above. Are you in fact the "account coordinator" which is listed at the top of the Project MUSE page as "TBD"? If so you might want to update the page when you get a moment. -Thibbs (talk) 20:35, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- For the moment, as we're a bit short of volunteers. I'll do that, thanks. Nikkimaria (talk) 21:00, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- You should now both have received your MUSE logins, sorry for the delay. Nikkimaria (talk) 03:26, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
- Yup, mine's working now. Thanks for your help, Nikkimaria. -Thibbs (talk) 19:00, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for going through that large list of links on the Cloud9 AFD. I had seen the list, and was dreading doing that myself, but knew I owed it to them since I was the one who submitted the AFD. - @Captain Assassin!, ✓ done. Pretty sure you could have moved the second one yourself as there was only one edit in its history. I think the target only needs to be deleted when there is more than one edit. Try that next time and let me know if it doesn't work. I'm also not sure the ID2 Twitter reports mean that shooting has actually begun, but the planned date is close enough that I'm fine with it. czar ⨹ 12:15, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
