???

I'm sorry, but what were you thinking? Drmies (talk) 02:23, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

I will be a bit more specific: Do not leave welcome messages for blocked trolls. Thank you. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 02:26, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
Even blocked trolls are humans too. Plus, who knows if the IP belongs to multiple people? Hdjensofjfnen (If you want to trout me, go ahead!) 02:38, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
That has nothing to do with it. Please don't do stuff like this again. Drmies (talk) 02:45, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
In what way was the IP trolling, anyway? Hdjensofjfnen (If you want to trout me, go ahead!) 02:58, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
They're block evasion by a troll that was posting transphobic hate speech and death threats. Ian.thomson (talk) 21:40, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
Ah. Okay, that's not human by my any standards. Hdjensofjfnen (If you want to trout me, go ahead!) 22:02, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of William Hofeldt

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on William Hofeldt requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 03:17, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

Hi, Hdjensofjfnen. In the talk page of this now deleted article you wrote "William Hofeldt’s pieces are played nationwide, as much as Aaron Copland’s are". This assertion requires verification from reliable sources that are independent of the subject of the article. I have done my best to find any indication that Mr Hofeldt meets the general notability guidelines and can find none. The speedy deletion of Mr Hofeldt's Wikipedia article is no reflection on his talent and artistry, but simply follows Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for inclusion of articles about musicians. Please let me know if I can assists you in any way about the English language Wikipedia. More generally, there is a dedicated help-desk here that will quickly respond to any questions you may have. Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

Not a semiprime

Your example with 2x4 vs 4x2 is a non-example, because 8 is not a semiprime. If that is the basis for your change to semiprime, it is one that appears to be based purely on an elementary mistake. In addition, your new text is equally incorrect (if you count reflections and rotations as different from each other then there are eight ways of arranging things, not two). There is no need for a new discussion of this because we've already discussed it (see Talk:Semiprime#Portrait and landscape rectangular images). Please undo. —David Eppstein (talk) 01:48, 21 September 2018 (UTC)

@David Eppstein: I really dislike that you call me ignorant. Here's a better example: 101101010001001. 15 is a semiprime (3 x 5). Now:
101
101
010
001
001
is distinct from
10110
10100
01001. Hdjensofjfnen (If you want to trout me, go ahead!) 15:11, 21 September 2018 (UTC)
