John Delaney (footballer)
editHi, I'm just wondering where you got John Delaney's date of birth from (2 March 1942). In Wycombe Wanderers 1887-1996 The Official History, it's given as 3 February 1942. Could it be a mix-up with date formats somewhere (day and month transposed)? Thanks. DipsyDave (talk) 10:14, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, yeah, that’d be my error - appreciate you fixing it though! NouveauSarfas (Talk page) 11:23, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
Edit - just looked at your source (Barry Hugman's Footballers), and that says 3 February 1942, so I'll edit the article. Hope that's OK.

Balep Ba Ndoumbouk
editGreat work on Balep Ba Ndoumbouk - the article still has a stub tag at the bottom, has the article been fully destubbed or are you looking for more sources?
Also, when you add a player to the 1,000 destubbing list, do you add where the player is born or who they represent? I've been adding who they represent :) RossEvans18 (talk) 03:08, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oops, forget to remove the stub template - have removed now. Can't lie, I've been scouring early 2000s Armenian media for any mention of him and he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth after 2004. Unless someone has a major breakthrough, I honestly don't think we'll ever find out more more about him. Shame, really, for someone who made history for Armenian football.
- Personally, I use their birthplace, but I know Wikipedia is open to interpretation about these things. NouveauSarfas (Talk page) 03:19, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, it's a real shame about him - but it's also really interesting to me that he's just vanished - great work again :)) RossEvans18 (talk) 03:23, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
