Speedy deletion nomination of Walter Stanton
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Walter Stanton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi Ritzy 66, Stanton might be notable but because of the poor sources and WP:Original research it is difficult to tell. What I suggest is kind of starting over first by using only the sources that might meet the notability criteria then only using reliable primary sources to fill in gaps. You absolutely need to scrap all the unreliable sources and the content supported by them. A lot of it is great for genealogy sites like WikiTree but not appropriate here. It will be a much shorter article but that's ok. S0091 (talk) 19:23, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Nolan Stevens
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nolan Stevens requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nolan Stevens. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hello, Ritzy 66
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Grahaml35, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Frank Maffei, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Grahaml35}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
