He/she did disrupting editing on Mariah Carey's singles pages for added adult contemporary (the term is a style, not a genre) in the infobox as multiple times with different IP with same person (although I reverted it). Can you block him/her? 183.171.175.237 (talk) 12:32, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
- @183.171.175.237: Looks like they've stopped editing for a while now anyway so no block needed. The best place to report things like this is WP:AIV as that will get the attention of multiple administrators. WaggersTALK 07:06, 26 August 2014 (UTC)

Hello
editHow Can I Get My Account at wikipedia deleted? i dont want to be affiliated of wikipedia anymore? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scott Victor Gutierrez (talk • contribs) 10:52, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Scott Victor Gutierrez: From the username policy:
It is not possible to delete user accounts, as all contributions must be assigned to some identifier; either a username or an IP address.[1] Editors seeking privacy per their right to vanish can have their accounts renamed and their user pages and (in some cases) user talk pages deleted.
- Hope that helps, WaggersTALK 11:01, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 5
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited God's House Hospital, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Warden. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A slight problem
editI've been looking into Kurumi Nara's game for the entire year and was trying to add on some information about her Playing Style. I had made previous contributions to the same section of her page and didn't get anything taken out. Please explain how my new contribution was not constructive. My only intention was to present factual information for those who wish to find it. 149.135.26.167 (talk) 14:21, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
- @149.135.26.167: There are several issues with what you've added to that article. The first is that the tone is not encyclopaedic and is full of subjective terminology ("strong forehand", "hit quite high", "loopy balls" etc). Second, some of it just doesn't make grammatical sense ("it is often to see opponents leave such loopy balls expecting it to fall out"). But thirdly and most importantly, none of it is referenced. Citing appropriate sources is an essential part of our Biographies of Living people policy. Hope that helps. WaggersTALK 14:34, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
User: 89.238.148.194 Continues Vandalizing
editHello Waggers, You may be interested in knowing that 89.238.148.194 just blanked the page Random-access memory. I noticed you blocked him 2 weeks ago for 31 hours. It seems that he did not get the message.--Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 16:49, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

editThank you for your help and for your welcome and cookies :). Yes, I'm a total newbie, as you can tell, though I don't think I'll be on here much. Emerald Vile (talk) 08:37, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

You wrote: "What is relevant is Wikipedia's reputation and I agree that this is likely to do more harm than good. " If you posted this comment based on the word "f**k"then I am afraid this is the very definition of censorship., as quoted: "Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication or other information which may be considered objectionable by governments, media outlets, authorities or other such entities." from the article censorship. SYSS Mouse (talk) 19:38, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
- @SYSS Mouse: The difference between editorial judgement and censorship has been discussed at length on that page. Your comment above brings nothing new to the argument - nothing is being suppressed by not making putting that article on the front page, therefore nothing is being censored. The opposite of censorship is a lack of suppression, not active promotion. WaggersTALK 21:56, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
Need Assistance!!! Please Advice
editHi Waggers, my name is Anubhav Garg and i am searching for the cooking relating stuffs on wikipedia from the last couple of hours and just wanted to share some good stuffs on the same topic from different good blog posts, in order to make wiki's articles little more informative. My question is that, why are you always undoing my editings on the articles, i am confused that why they seem to be unappropriate to you. Can you please light me on this, thanks in advance. 61.8.129.150 (talk) 10:42, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
- @61.8.129.150: The only edit I've reverted of yours was back in May 2014 and related to the Pest Control article, nothing to do with cooking. There are other messages from other users on your talk page about your more recent edits, and they explain why they have been reverted. WaggersTALK 13:01, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
