Argo Group
reasoning -Medeia (talk) 14:41, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Dear Admin,
I am currently doing my internship and I am trying to place an article on Argo Group Int., which is an insurance company. The reason is not advertising, but to have the company itself listed on this online Encyclopedia which contains information about almost everything. I have also seen many others companies and their profile, such as one of the biggest companies Axa profile as well. I limited the description in order to avoid advertisement, and if it will be deleted again, could anyone tell me why? Or what should I write, how should I write it? My source was linked as well.. Im looking forward to hearing from you, Thank you a lot for your help,
Orsi Balog

A Broom With A View
I am requesting assistance in being able to communicate with the editor(s) who removed three of my pages (listed below). I am a fairly new author and am still learning proper Wiki protocol.

I would like to be able to restore the three pages that were deleted, supposedly for copyright infringement (not sure what the unambiguous means).
I was not contacted about the removal, and just happened upon it tonight when I tried to enter on and update them. I was not given a chance to make any adjustments, defend, or understand the reasoning for the removal. I thought that I had followed formats from other artist album pages.
The graphics for the albums were cleared through wikimedia ahead of time, and the material used was referenced and verifiable. I will be happy to modify the text or, if there is any need for to obtain copyright permission from the artist, Kristen Lawrence, to satisfy any copyright questions. Please let me know what I need to do.
Thank you for your assistance. -Idaho50 (talk) 05:55, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

Vampire Empire (album)
Have Proper Copyright Permission -Idaho50 (talk) 16:39, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
In reviewing the reasons for deletion of the three music albums, I would like to have the pages restored for the following reasons: I followed formats from other artist album pages, cited sources that are verifiable, and used Wikimedia photos. Everything on the pages was given WITH PERMISSION from the Artist, with NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT.
Please let me know what I need to do to resolve this issue. If a copy of the original pages could be made available to me, I would be happy to work to reassure editors of my following proper procedures, or modify them, if needed.
The three deleted pages are: RE: 14:21, 21 September 2011 Fram (talk | contribs) deleted "A Broom With A View (album)" (G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement: http://halloweencarols.com/music/a_broom_with_a_view)

Timothy Ray West
arbitrary decision wrong -Timwest1156 (talk) 03:45, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
First, this article was done to facilitate the adding of Mr. West to the list of actors
from Kansas, which is a fact. He has acted, in a speaking role in a movie about Autism
called "The Sunset Sky". It is documented on the Internet Movie Database, and a few
other sites. I have found no criteria stating he had to have acted in more than one film
or show to qualify. It would seem that the rules on here leave a very wide area for
interpretation. I submit that if this wide latitude in deleting is going to be used then it
should also be used for allowing what some may consider questionable additions, unless
an administrator has definite evidence to the contrary of what is being posted. This
instance is not even close since evidence was provided as requested.
The movie shows some of the troubles people with Autism and their relatives deal with and how they overcome them. It is not a documentary or Biographical film but it does depict some of the actual issues they have.
I originally tried to just add the name “Timothy Ray West” to the Kansas Actors List but was informed an article was needed. So I made one and it was “Speedy Deleted”.
Anyway, there is no reason for this page to not be posted.
Thank you!

- Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles concerning people. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning people will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject. Reason for deletion: G4: Recreation of a page that was deleted per a deletion discussion. I would like to point out that the deleted page is NOT substantially identical to the prior deleted versions, and has been improved by the addition of references, copyrights and new notability. An administrator deleted this page without obtaining consensus to delete it, and without prior warning to the editor. Wikipedia policy states that if a page can be improved, this should be solved through regular editing, rather than deletion. The page has been improved and should not be deleted. The person now meets the notability criteria of having received a well-known and significant award, a Young Artist Award, and has also been nominated for this award several times. The Young Artist Awards has multiple Wikipedia articles in which the person is mentioned. As an entertainer, the person has had additional significant roles in productions since the original article was deleted. The person has starred in a movie, The Boarder, which is about a topic unusual enough to deserve attention, Reactive Attachment Disorder. The movie is based on a published book by an expert in the field of Reactive Attachment Disorder and has a Wikipedia article in which the person is mentioned. Interaction between fiscal and monetary policies
Since monetary policies and fiscal policies are discussed in isolation of their interaction with each other and understanding their interaction is important to analyse their aggregate impact on the economy, the topic is worthy of discussion. Also, lot of studies have been made so far on this subject. A few research papers that could be quoted are : *The Interaction of fiscal and monetary policies by Anton Muscatelli et al
- Interaction between fiscal and monetary policy: How monetary conditions affect fiscal consolidation by Rudiger Ahrend et al
- Monetary-Fiscal Policy Interactions and Fiscal Stimulus by Troy Davig et al
- The Interaction between fiscal and monetary policy by Matthew Canzonery et al.

- (edit conflict)You created an article that consisted only of the single character ' and nearly three hours later nothing had been added to it. Articles that are posted without any content get deleted because we do not like readers of the encyclopedia to find them. You should develop your article in a sandbox and not post it before there is enough content to make clear it is going to be a serious article. (I suspect this user is from the Wikipedia:India Education Program - they seem to have been given a deadline to put in an article, which has led to several empty ones like this, and is a waste of everyone's time). Is a neutral, non-biased page about a company and its website. It includes features of the website, information that certain pages contain, information about membership to the site, and services that the company can link you to. It does not advertise the company using promotional language/descriptive adjectives. Article was deleted because it was argued to be an advertisement/promotional page. - Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles concerning companies. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning companies will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject. This is an entry about a living person. Jordan is a professional skateboarder who was featured in one of Spike Jonze early full length productions "Blind Skateboards, Video Days" and who is a subject of an independent documentary, "Wayward Son." He left professional skateboarding when he converted to Islam, but has returned.
You have entries for his former sponsor, Blind Skateboards, and also for most of his team mates on that team. You also have an entry for Video Days. I cited numerous articles written about him in skateboarding publications, and Muslim publications.

Surprised that the page was speedily deleted for the reason that the administrator thought it was an advertisement. I wrote the article because I wanted to understand what UAD is and I was surprised that there was not an already existing article on it. The page only discusses the facts and was not written in a promotional way at all. I need to use and understand the UAD specification for my day job (as do hundreds of thousands of appraisers, lenders, mortgage bankers, etc.) but I am not affiliated in any way with UAD and/or the GSEs that created UAD. The page had only the reasoning behind the creation of UAD, basic facts on UAD and links to the official pages. How do you construe that as promotional or advertisement?

article was improperly deleted citing it did not meet criteria for notable bands. However this group does as one member is a former Top 10 finalist on American Idol who was a founding member of the country supergroup Sugarland and has a Top 10 single in Canada (Vanessa Olivarez, who has her own wikipedia), the other member is a winner of the John Lennon songwriting contest and the founder of significant rock band The Swear who also has a wiki page. The band has appeared on PBS Sun Studio Sessions. This band meets several of Wiki's notability criteria: 6.Is an ensemble which contains two or more independently notable musicians, or is a musician who has been a member of two or more independently notable ensembles. 9.Has won or placed in a major music competition. 10. Has performed music for a work of media that is notable, e.g. a theme for a network television show, performance in a television show or notable film, inclusion on a notable compilation album, etc. and 12. 12.Has been a featured subject of a substantial broadcast segment across a national radio or TV network. -170.140.221.45 (talk) 16:09, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Admiral Samuel W. Peake
Hello fine administrators of Wikipedia!
I come to you on wonderful day after overcoming what I view as the most trying and difficult periods of my life thus far. Recently (within the last few months), I was robbed by an armed robber on the streets, and suffered a few moderate stab wounds. However, this is as far as my memory of the events that transpired extends. Alas, my mind will never fully recall the events and beauties that my mind witnessed in the period of time that I no longer can recall. So now, after what may seem to be much overstated preamble, I come to the point. The article in question was written, by me, shortly before these incidents occurred during a time of great joy in my life. I feel that if I was provided with a copy of this "lost" article, I could review it and perhaps jog my memory as to recall the joyous moments that I have lost. I do not necessarily wish for this article to be posted onto your website again, simply for a copy of the text within the article. I fully understand and support your opinions on its deletion and will similarly support your opinions on whether or not I should receive a copy of the article.
I thank you for your time and hope that you can understand my point of view. -HyundaifOu (talk) 05:03, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- Note: Of the article's three deletions, the first is a G1 and the other two are G3s. Further, this's your only edit and you were created two and a half hours ago. I'm calling shenanigans on this one and will be in touch with a CheckUser. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 06:29, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

- Having gone through the article, I note that although there are 2 references that relate to some of the problems the organization apparently tries to address, the only references that mention the organization are its own website - this is obviously not permissible as a reliable source and cannot speak to its notability whatsoever. The article reads of a lot of WP:PUFFERY and original research. As a WP:USERSPACEDRAFT is to be temporary, and still belongs to Wikipedia, could you advise how you'll move forward to make this potentially usable? MunchTech
The page was deleted because "No explanation of the subject's significance ", there was plenty of information about the podcast network, it's shows and also what 'MunchTech' is. I don't see any reasoning for the page to be deleted, considering it went untouched for more than a month, then all of a sudden out of the blue was deleted. I would ask that this deletion is reconsidered. Thanks. -Techintensive (talk) 19:14, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- Not done - this is not an appropriate topic for inclusion on Wikipedia. Please see Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Wikipedia does not accept original research or articles for which there do not exist reliable sources of information.. It was also deleted for being promotional: with absolutely zerothird party reliable sources that even suggest anything to match Wikipedia's notability guidelines, it is clear that this subject is not suitable for an encyclopedia. Flintzel Diao
As you can see the article Flintzel Diao is facing a debate of deletion. But there are things to consider so that the article will not be deleted. One, the article is verifiable and has relevance of Flintzel's life. Two, the article is notable, 10 out of 12 criteria for musicians and ensmbles. And three, the article is telling somebody's personal life so this means we am not lying, we are only telling the truth and nothing but the truth. And after all there is no harm of putting the article here. -Flint Diao (talk) 05:25, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

Respawn Entertainment
Respawn is an independent game company worthy of an individual page. Currently it defaults to a section on Infinity Ward's wiki page. Respawn does have a significant amount of IW employees but also has many not affiliated with IW in the past. A quick Google search will reveal exactly how much press Respawn warrants on it's own and with a AAA project on the way, isn't it only a matter of time before Wikipedia will have to cave into letting them have their own page just like every other game company? -Kcar311 (talk) 03:42, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

Bobby Mackey
This page was deleted without any warning. All the information is factual and it is in regards to a country music singer in Northern Kentucky. I would like to know why it was deleted and how we can get it restored. Thank you. - I see now that it is because "Not enough available resources to continue to create/research this article." If we can undelete I can add sources to the article to make it available. Bobby Mackey has been featured on Syfy, Discovery, and many other national tv shows, he has released several CDs. We wish to have a biography of him on Wikipedia and hope that we can make the page better so that this does not happen in the future. -RCourtade (talk) 02:58, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

- I have issue with this and need to further understand. I don't know a lot about how this Wikipedia stuff works but I'm trying to figure this out. - The relevant policy here is actually Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Because of Wikipedia's visibility, the damage an unsourced biography can do to a person's personal or professional life is enormous, and thus unsourced biographies are speedily-deleted in order to protect both the subject from potential dangers from the hack job and Wikipedia from being sued by said subject. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 17:38, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
