- I shall be your monkey wrench. I shall pose to you the dilemma posed on American Pickers last week: who would win in a fight to the death, Rocky Balboa or John Rambo? And if you say "Sylvester Stallone", you will lose the internet forever. bahamut0013wordsdeeds 15:45, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

- I thank you, good sir, for your support and occasional guidance over the many months (has it actually been two years since I bullied my way into your life?). I don't want to thankspam over a hundred people (at least half of which I swear I've never met before), but I'm gonna single you out for some totally heterosexual man-love. I think the term "brother from another mother" is too strong here (not to mention that I'm too white to be allowed to say such a thing), but maybe "role model" would work. wait... bahamut0013wordsdeeds 17:33, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- Wow, you've been an admin for how many hours and you're already showing epically poor judgement? Certainly you could find a better role model. ;)
All seriousness aside, thanks man. I look forward to actually meeting you someday. Who the hell knows when that'd be, of course... EVula // talk // ☯ // 18:35, 13 April 2011 (UTC)- Yeah, I dunno. Seems like all of the sudden the dentral East Coast is rockin with events after I planned to leave it. Who knows, if the wife
kisses my asssuccessfully reconciles with me and I don't divorce her, we might stick around a while longer. bahamut0013wordsdeeds 19:17, 13 April 2011 (UTC)- Ouch. Well, good luck with that. If nothing else, DC is gonna play host to Wikimania in 2012. Maybe that's far enough out that you could make plans to be there. Hopefully we can meet before then, but that could be a "last resort" type of timeframe. :) EVula // talk // ☯ // 19:20, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

Nice job on D3 beta
editI honestly thought we would never get a reliable source for the D3 beta announcement and there would just be constant reverting until the beta actually started. Great job finding a source and thanks for putting in the effort. -- Fyrefly (talk) 17:06, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was really tired (and on the phone) when I added the blog citation last night. D'oh. Happy I could find a better source once my mental faculties returned. :) EVula // talk // ☯ // 17:33, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- And they say that texting and driving is dangerous... I'd almost rather you say it was a drunken orgy and heroin bender. Won't anyone think of the children?!?! bahamut0013wordsdeeds 18:06, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- Can you just confirm on the talk page whether or not that's a reliable source. I don't really keep up with gaming news, so I don't know them from a hole in the wall, and I want to make sure they're not just repeating what's been in the blogs. Thanks! – RobinHood70 talk 18:38, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- When in doubt, look them up on Wikipedia. :P A quick perusal of Joystiq shows that they've been used as a source on a few other articles, and a quick Google search confirms that they aren't just making shit up. Reply made on the talk page. EVula // talk // ☯ // 18:43, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply, but as I said over there, Joystiq is a blog. Honestly, I'd be really surprised if this is just a rumour give that we've seen it coming from some of the bigger names in the Blizzard Forums (or at least I seem to remember someone mentioning that a few days ago), but Joystiq may still not be the best choice if they're a blog. Anyway, I'm not concerned much either way because I think it's almost certainly true, just pointing out that it may be reverted (yet again) as a blog source. – RobinHood70 talk 18:50, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- Resist the knee-jerk reaction to the word blog, please; a website is not innately unreliable just because it sports a blog format. Take a look at Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources#Self-published sources (online and paper): "...these may be acceptable as sources so long as the writers are professional journalists or are professionals in the field on which they write and the blog is subject to the news outlet's full editorial control". Joystiq isn't a self-published blog, they have an actual editorial staff. Spirit of the law, not the letter, is what matters. EVula // talk // ☯ // 19:12, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
