editnot sure if this is how we contact you. my account was blocked. they consider me to be a spammer.i obviously don't know enough technology to be a spammer. i am writing a brief appeal. i have been sharing content from Wikipedia for quite some time. in fact it's the only dictionary I personally use. i read that you could submit info on yourself. that is what i was trying to do. my "business" has been operating since 2001. we don't receive any money for what we do. never have! i have almost 8000 followers on our facebook page. we do so much in our community. from paranormal investigation to spiritual grief counseling. if you visit our facebook page you will see we are also community activists. now my question is, why is what my volunteers and i do, less important than kim kardashian. i thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.177.8.169 (talk • contribs)
- Without knowing what your account was, or what article was deleted, there's not much I can do to help you. However, Wikipedia doesn't place emphasis on "importance", as that's far too subjective (though there a certainly a LOT of things more important than Kim Kardashian, in my opinion), but instead focuses on notability, which would be measured by independent reporting about your company from reliable sources. Being open since 2001 and having 8,000 followers on Facebook do not necessarily denote notability. EVula // talk // ☯ // 20:35, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
