- Hi there and thanks so much for your recent contributions to the Jemele Hill entry. I've reverted for policy reasons (below) but accidentally clicked through before I left an explanation, and wanted to message you with more info, though we could also discuss on the talk page of that entry: I think you raise a very fair question about how much should be included. I reverted even though your additions were sourced (thank you!) because Wikipedia has a strong presumption of privacy that means we don't publicize people who aren't already high-profile (see e.g. WP:NOTPUBLICFIGURE, WP:BLPNAME and other policies on that page), and I tend to think Hill's parents fall into that category even though she's discussed them publicly. But have a look at the policy and then like I say, I'm more than happy to discuss on the entry's talk page and maybe get more input from other editors as well if it seems to you the info should be included.
