Thank you
Hello, Many thanks for fixing the bare URLs on the Susan Alberti article on 19 April 2014. I only had enough time left yesterday to put the 'bare URLs' banner up, with a view to coming back at a later date to fix the only way I knew - manually. Thanks to your edits I now know about Reflinks, a very handy tool. Cheers. Melbourne3163 (talk) 21:59, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- Melbourne3163, when dealing with pdf and IMDb links you will have to manually fill the cite template as Reflinks doesn't help with these links.--Skr15081997 (talk) 02:34, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
OK, thanks again. Melbourne3163 (talk) 06:17, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
Hi Skr15081997! Thanks for the wonderful welcome message! I am having some trouble uploading photos to the page's I edit. When it sais upload the file I have no idea what to do. I hope you have an answer. Bye! P.S. I would send you a picture of cookies but I can't upload it! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Militaryhistory341 (talk • contribs) 00:40, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- Militaryhistory341, when you are on the Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard you should click at " Click here to Start the Upload Form" which is at the center of the page ,wait for a few moments and when you see "Step 1: Choose your file" click on the choose button and select the file you want to upload. An easy way for you can be this [1]. Remember to provide source and copyright information. For copyright related guidelines you can see image use policy. Well if you want to gift something to a user then go to his/her user talk page, there you will find a heart shaped icon near the Search bar on the right hand side of your screen ,click at the heart and choose the gift you want to present to the other user.--Skr15081997 (talk) 08:16, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
Dead links
Hi Shailendra,
You removed two {{dead link}} tags here, but I cannot access either of the citations from the UK. I could not retrieve old versions at archive.org either. Are they live links for you in India? – Fayenatic London 17:18, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

Raw URLs in iWork
I have reverted your deletion of the {{Cleanup-bare URLs}} template from the iWork article. A web citation with only a name for the link qualifies as a link vulnerable to link rot. The template states, "Please consider adding full citations so that the article remains verifiable."
References to web pages as citations should, in general, conform to {{cite web}}. (See Template:Cite web/doc)
- Softtest123, From now I will remove the {{Cleanup-bare URLs}} tag only after the full citations have been added. Thanks.--Skr15081997 (talk) 04:22, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

May 2014 disambig contest: let's do it again!
Greetings fellow disambiguator! Remember back in February when we made history by clearing the board for the first time ever, for the monthly disambiguation contest? Let's do it again in May! I personally will be aiming to lead the board next month, but for anyone who thinks they can put in a better effort, I will give a $10 Amazon gift card to any editor who scores more disambiguation points in May. Also, I will be setting up a one-day contest later in the month, and will try to set up more prizes and other ways to make this a fun and productive month. Cheers! bd2412 T 18:50, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Please check Mussel Watch Program again
I recently submitted my user sandbox for approval to be made into an article about the Mussel Watch Program. The Mussel Watch Program is one of the many projects that is run by NOAA. You declined it, stating "Thank you for your submission, but the subject of this article already exists in Wikipedia. You can find it and improve it at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration instead." However, this subject does not exist on the NOAA page. A search for "mussel" has no results, and scanning through by eye I found no mention of the Mussel Watch Program either.
Perhaps you meant for me to add my submission as a subheading on the NOAA page? NOAA does provide brief summaries of some of their programs with a link to a full, more detailed Wikipedia article on the subject, but this still requires a separate page to exist. The article that I have created would be too long and detailed to appear as a brief summary, however a brief summary could certainly be created.
I would like for my submission of the Mussel Watch Program article to be approved and to serve as this separate page. The Mussel Watch Program could then be briefly summarized and linked to from the main NOAA page.
Please let me know what changes need to be made for that to happen, thank you! Esci459djw (talk) 20:32, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
- I apologize, I forgot to provide a link to the sandbox, so there it is. Esci459djw (talk) 20:38, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
- The article has been approved. Feel free to disregard and delete this section. Thanks! Esci459djw (talk) 02:34, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
Wrath
Hi. That was not a comment to put you down, just an objection to it being featured on the front page with those mistakes uncorrected. If you could perhaps go though your text again, or ask some of those who claim to have reviewed to do it for you, I'm sure it could be fixed easily -- most of those mistakes that pop up are slips of the pen. (We all get them from time to time.)
Additionally, you use the formats "" and '' for quotes, but only the former is needed -- certainly not both. You could add a comma or two where the phrases are really dense, while correcting the phrasing. Also, please italicize film titles throughout the text. Dahn (talk) 11:38, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
- @Dahn: I will work on the article and make all the necessary corrections. Thanks a lot for pointing out the mistakes.--Skr15081997 (talk) 11:44, 22 May 2014 (UTC)

Citizenship Services Group page
Hi,
I'm new to user talk. Can you advise me what type of references you would like to see on the above page?
Thanks for the help.
There are not a lot of newspaper articles about the Greek Folk Dance Festival, which has been going on for more than 20 years on the West Coast. I can quote people who were dance instructors at various dance facilities, but because they were also judges, would reference to or quoting them also be considered not independent sources? At this point I'm not sure where to look for independent sources.
Again, thank you for the help

You recently declined my article for failure to use all third party sources, so I heeded your advice and researched further. I was able to find third party sources for my article. I was wondering if I were to resubmit the page now, is it back up for review or will it be put to the back of the line? Thank you. Contentcreator44 (talk) 14:52, 23 June 2014 (UTC)
