Welcome!

Hello, JennilyW, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Pirnceton Entertainment, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at the our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions ask me on my talk page or you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Northern Escapee (talk) 04:57, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Pirnceton Entertainment

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pirnceton Entertainment requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Insert {{clear}} at the end of your "Userboxes" section. Jerm (talk) 05:38, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

@Jerm why?JennilyW (talk) 05:40, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
It moves your other sections which are currently on the right side of your userboxes to the bottom of your "Userboxes" section. BTW, your ping didn't actually work because you forgot to insert "User:" in the brackets. It should've looked like [[User:Jerm]], not [[Jerm]] which is a redirect to the article Jeremy Nell. You can also use {{ping|Jerm}} or {{u|Jerm}}. — Jerm (talk) 07:01, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

Pronoun

Did you notice that {{User:Avazina/ACCEPTED JESUS}} on your user page says ... accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and ...? There apparently is not an option to change the pronoun. —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 20:35, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Yeah, I found out about that...I was just to excited to put Userboxes on my page and I didn't know that some of them had he or him in it. I guess I'm going to have to remove those. Thanks for the heads up! JennilyW (talk) 20:39, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

IPv6

You probably don't need to put a warning on an IPv6 user's talk page (like 2601:586:C602:B480:3905:DAF2:CEAD:B07, as opposed to IPv4, which looks like 192.168.123.45) when reverting them. Unless you see that they have made multiple contributions over more than a day from the same address, it's safe to assume that they will never see your message.

This is because the nature of IPv6 is such that the address changes routinely. For mobiles, this is especially true (e.g., Verizon Wireless changes with each connection, which can be on every edit, even just seconds apart).

Even on a fixed line (like a home cable or fiber connection), the subscriber is typically allocated at least a "/64" range, which means the top half of the address (the first four 4-character groups) might stay the same, but the bottom half (the last four groups) will change often.

Wikipedia does not have a way of grouping messages together by range; a user or user talk page is associated with only a single address. So, the likelihood of the same user (or anyone, really) getting assigned the same IPv6 address again is fairly low.

I hope this helps. —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 20:54, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

OK, thanks. JennilyW (talk) 20:58, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

We are having a conversation on Wikipedia about this person. You are Canadian. The idea that her mother turns up from Sweden and gets pregnant by a Somali criminal and that her daughter is then British is laughable. Accept this and you become a Native American. same filter problem?

hi, i think we had the same problem with a filter when we were adding userboxes. the filter is private so i'm not exactly sure it's the same one, but i saw on Crow's talk page that it blocked your edit back in december. Crow said to remove the r*ckr*ll box and they'd fix it, but i tried doing that and it still won't go through. did you encounter any other issues that you had to remove to comply with the filter? thanks WoodlandCorvid (talk) 23:31, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

@WoodlandCorvid: It let me through when I removed the r*ckr*ll box. 🍓⋆JennilyW♡🍧 (talk) 23:36, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

i censored the word 'r*ckr*oll' in my page and summary and it went through. i'm going to leave a note on my false positive report that even when the word was in a comment and wouldnt be visible or in the summary, the filter still disallowed the edit. thank you for responding WoodlandCorvid (talk) 23:41, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

Citations

Thank you JennilyW for your message. I wasnt aware on how to add my citation with respect to the edit i made about Jim Ovia.

If you can offer some guidiance, that will be nice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nnanze (talkcontribs)

@Nnanze: Hello Nnanze. I recommend seeing WP:RS and WP:REFBEGIN so that you know what reliable sources are and how to add them. I also recommend you use the Cite tool at the top since using the cite your sources tool will put a bare URL, and see WP:RSP for sources that are allowed and are not allowed. WP:BIOG might be able to help you find sources if you have trouble looking for them. Also, when you want to make a section, please click/tap "New Section" tab (it's blue and it's next to the "View History" and "Edit" tab) or click the Click here to start a new topic. at the top of the talk page in the box (it's also blue, but it's bold. bold looks like this) It will help me navigate to sections faster so that I can reply faster. Lastly, please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking   or using four tildes (~~~~). This way, I know who made the comment. I hope this helps.🍓⋆JennilyW♡🍧 (talk) 14:45, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

I fixed your refs. First, do not bother to create a ref name if the ref will only be used once, and if you need to, make it short. date= is for when the item was published. access-date is when you created the ref. If more than one author, last2= |first2=| last3= |first3= | David notMD (talk) 03:26, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

Ref dates and names

date= is the date it was published. access-date= is the date you created the ref. You have been putting pub date in access date.

Ref names are not needed if the ref is only being used once. If needed, ref names should be short, for example, "ObitUSAToday" David notMD (talk) 12:13, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

Pokémon episode summaries

Hello. This message is intended to give you some feedback and is not meant to be harsh. The next time you write episode summaries for the Pokémon anime, could you please proofread your work before submitting? I've been finding basic spelling and grammar errors in your summaries. Also, all names must initially be in Japanese. That goes for human characters and for Pokémon. I do occasionally go over what other editors write for the summaries and make my own adjustments, but sometimes it's over 10 hours later or the next day, when I have had the chance to watch the episode. List of programs broadcast by G4

I have reverted the hoax programs added by 64.231.141.64 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), who has since been blocked and had few good edits to the encyclopedia; this includes the content warred over by LocalTVFanatic and JellyMan9001. The channel was winding down in '13-'14, and would have never been able to air The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, The Nutshack or El Chavo Animado because they never held the rights to those series and had licenses with other networks (or were owned by companies who never license their shows to competitor networks), nor would anyone sell shows to a network which was ending its operations. Feel free to revert as I have no interest in hitting 3RR, but the list is a false IP contribution that should not be there. Thank you. Nate (chatter) 15:33, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
