Orphaned non-free image File:Flash2-5Logo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Flash2-5Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:14, 2 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:RussianSleepExperimentGuy.png

[edit]

A tag has been placed on File:RussianSleepExperimentGuy.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation of https://www.drive2.ru/c/461398510797849926/ and has no credible claim of fair use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Ирука13 06:42, 4 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:HarveyWillgoose.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:HarveyWillgoose.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under the non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:11, 5 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable non-free use File:PoliceAtAllSaintsSchool.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:PoliceAtAllSaintsSchool.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:31, 7 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced

[edit]

TheSwagger13, please do not re-add poorly sourced content to CapCut, even with a citation needed tag. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material. That description of the issue can reflect poorly on the company and the people managing CapCut's business model (saying they were accused of being "money hungry"), so it should be handled with care per the policy on living people. Sources that should be cited for that are publications, like newspapers or books, with reputable publishing standards, not random user-generated YouTube videos. Spawnism

[edit]

Hi, thanks for making this a redirect. I've been giving myself a crash course in the issue since I came across the earlier article today. I'm just wondering whether Roblox might be too broad for the redirect target. What do you think of redirecting to Child safety on Roblox instead, as that seems to be what some adults are concerned about? ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · email · global) 04:37, 2 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Probably. NegativeMP deleted my Spawnism statement, so Child safety on Roblox should be a better option. TheSwagger13 (talk) 04:38, 2 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Concern considering edit on Lesbian Space Princess

[edit]

Your addition of content to that page has been reversed. Your description of "readding internet slandering the movie, though with less significance" is not only inaccurate, but the text you added "In late August 2026, out-of-context clips from the movie began circulating in social media, resulting in massive backlash and defamation towards the movie. Several fandoms united to further criticize and mock the film, temporarily setting aside their usual rivalries" did NOT summarize the articles accurately at all, implying you did not read those articles. Furthermore, the sources you used are not high-quality sources, and as such violates Wikipedia rules on reliable sources. There is no reason to think, at this present time, that what you have added is relevant enough to add UNTIL there are four to five high-quality sources available. Re-adding this content would not only violate consensus, but would start an edit war. If you would like to contribute to the discussion on your addition, you are welcome to do so at Talk:Lesbian Space Princess#Something on the online mockery?. As someone with over 1,000 edits, you should know better than to add this section to the reception section of this article. Please do NOT re-add such a badly sourced, unnecessary content to this page any time in the future. If you do, your contribution will be reversed. @Historyday01, this is unnecessarily hostile. TonySt  21:54, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
You can say that all you want, but you are adding in a section which is uncalled for and does not help the page. Please get consensus for your addition before re-adding it. In solidarity - Historyday01 (talk) 22:09, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Historyday01, I am not the person you left the message for. TonySt  22:13, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I thought that you were. I fully admit I could have worded it better, but, I am tired of people adding in information like this, so I still support the spirit of what I said, and I added in good faith. I was sending the individual a warning. Next time, I will try to be more neutral and have it be much more concise, but it is too late to do that now. I can't change what I posted. In solidarity - Historyday01 (talk) 22:17, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Historyday01 Alright, I'll try my best to add verifiable sources. Next time though, please do remain neutral like @TonySt said; even if you have a valid crash out for me having 1,000 edits, this will definitely leave a bad impression about you. Thank you for your advice. TheSwagger13 (talk) 05:59, 28 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
It isn't about having a "valid crash out" for the number of edits you have at all. I'm only trying to ensure that the rules on here are followed. As such, I implore you to get a consensus for your addition (which uses high-quality reliable sources) before adding it to the reception section boldly. Alright. Thank you very much. TheSwagger13 (talk) 12:25, 28 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
