You don't give any of the TWO users involved in the nomination not even a single chance to respond? I am highly offended by this. The review is supposed to help in the process; I've received more help with FL nominations than this, and they are held at an extremely higher standard. — Statυs (talk) 20:09, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- I just think the article didn't meet the GA criteria at the time. The issues are on the review page, and I am encouraging you to address them and renominate the article. Why is that so offensive? And at the end of the day the reviewer must decide whether to list the article as GA, place on hold or fail it. I just think the issues should be addressed away from the first review as they really are quite prominent. For example the quotes need some serious paraphrasing, the references as (almost all of them) need fixing, and the prose is just generally poor at times. If there were minor issues in the article I would put it on hold, but again they aren't. Have fun, Till I Go Home (talk) 00:36, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
- I've actually taken a look at your previous reviews, to see that some had even more issues, yet you fail mine and give the others loads of time. I will be taking this up with administration. Quote and reference issues are not a legitimate reason to, basically, quick fail an article. Some of your review didn't even make such; such as what was pointed out below. — Statυs (talk) 00:49, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
- That depends on the circumstances/issues of the article. Honestly I don't see why I am being attacked for this. The article can always be renominated (at any time) and eventually passed, plus every reviewer is different -- and to me, fixing the issues from scratch and then renominating seemed appropriate. Till I Go Home (talk) 01:08, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm just stating the fact that you never did that with any of the previous articles you reviewed. And said reviews, just so happened to be of Rihanna; in which you shouldn't have even reviewed in the first place, seeing as you're a member of her WikiProject. — Statυs (talk) 01:20, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
- I was invited to become a member of Rihanna's WikiProject after I reviewed those articles, funnily enough. When I reviewed them I wasn't a part of the project. Till I Go Home (talk) 01:22, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

List of best selling boy/girl bands
Hi, I reached you because you commented on the AfD discussion page of List of Best Selling Girl Groups http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_best-selling_girl_groups. First I want to say that I'm new in this, so I would like to seek your advice as to what step to take regarding this. You see, the male equivalent of the page, "List of Best Selling Boybands" has been deleted as per the consensus here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_best-selling_boy_bands. I strongly feel that this is inconsistency, just as this guide explained. The argument for deletion was the exactly the same and yet the consensus was different. I would like to know if there's a place somewhere where I can bring this issue up, so that consistency can be reached. I've tried contacting the admin here but he said there's nothing he could do because he was only following the consensus. Thank you. Krystaleen (talk) 03:32, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Krystaleen! You can take the article to Wikipedia:Deletion review in which editors can challenge the deletion decision. I'm sorry but didn't know that the article was brought up at Afd. Till I Go Home (talk) 04:22, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for responding. So deletion review is the only way to go? Do you have any advice as to what argument should I present? I don't want this to end up solidifying the deletion of the article, so I'm afraid I'd mess up. Krystaleen (talk) 10:07, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- Depends on what you want to do. To appeal the deletion you would have to take the article to Deletion review, I can't think of anything else that would help :S maybe try contacting a third-party admin? Till I Go Home (talk) 10:39, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

How do i upload audio samples?
how do i upload audio samples could you explain? AdabowtheSecond (talk) 01:32, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Just go to the upload file section, select the audio sample (which must be on .ogg format) and select the option No.2:"This is a copyrighted, non-free work, but I believe it is Fair Use.". Then select "This is an excerpt from a copyrighted work." and, on the first list, select "sound sample of an audio recording". Remember the sample must be on .Ogg --Hahc21 (talk) 01:44, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

Hey! i recently reviewed an article named Cat Daddy. I proposed it to speedy deletion per CSD A9 but the discussion between me and the article creator is getting a little hot and i don't want that. Your recent message to me
Thanks for your message. The comments by the user in question were unhelpful in several respects, and contribute further to my concern about the user. However, they aren't in themselves enough basis for taking any action, unless there are further, more serious problems. I have not made an search through the user's editing history to see whether there are further problems, and right now I don't think I can afford the time doing so. However, I may come back to this. Please feel welcome to contact me again if you have further concerns. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:25, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. I didn't want to resurrect something that has been left in the past but still mentioned it considering the user is an administrator, and they (admins) should know much better than that. Till I Go Home (talk) 13:42, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

Hmong History..
The old history section failed to take into consideration new discoveries and updates on Hmong history. Nicholas Tapp even stated that the Hmong and Miao were the same people 2000 years ago. Using Chiyou/Yandi as the tread, Chinese records and discoveries have alot about the San Miao and Dongyi of the Juili tribe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.239.236.130 (talk) 15:58, 25 May 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 28
Hi. When you recently edited Beauty and a Beat, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Capital FM and LMFAO (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

are publishers needed to receive GA Status, the only publisher i know is global radio for capital fm, i don't know how do find them AdabowtheSecond (talk) 02:18, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, you have to include the publishers in every reference. Otherwise it fails criteria #2 of WP:GACR. Till I Go Home talk 02:21, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- how do i find them in an article?? AdabowtheSecond (talk) 02:30, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- Go to the website's WIkipedia page, or go to the official website. It might have it at the bottom of the website. Till I Go Home talk 02:31, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Heidi Montag
Hi, I recently noticed you have re-done my edits on both Heidi Montag's page and the page for her Superficial album. I was wondering why, since all of the information was sourced and confirmed. An expansion of the page was much needed, and the order of information before I edited the page was so messed up. I did notice the vandalism on the Superficial page when it came to charts, and I understand why that was removed (I didn't put that, just so you know). I ask that my edits be kept, as I feel it makes the page look well written and matches other artist pages. I frequently check the pages to make sure there is no vandalism, and apparently you do to. We could keep the page looking top notch, if we work together. :-)
- THere are poor sources such as blogs and fansites. These aren't allowed in biographies of living persons. And there was vandalism on the Superficial (album) article. Please discuss the changes on the talk page before reverting again. Till I Go Home talk 01:38, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
- Can you please cite these concerns on the talk page (along with a couple examples) to get the discussion going? --NeilN talk to me 01:44, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
- I've started a new section on the Superficial talk page.
- I replied. Till I Go Home talk 02:04, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
