- This is too complex a situation for WP:REFUND. You will have to ask an OTRS member who is an admin, or ask at WP:DRV. Improvement of list of Articles
Hi Dear Titodutta Thanx for responding about the event of Punjab edit-a-thon on my talk page.I have gone through the list of articles and found that it miss articles on most important aspects of punjab. on the other hand it contains many articles of lesser importance for the State and its people.Moreover as your title reflect "Punjab edit-a-thon: Write for glory" most of the articles relate to glorification and there is hardly any article on the crisis of the state and its people are facing.May I know how this list is prepared and can it still be amended.I am an active member of the community and want to contribute in this event if the content to be created is worthwhile.--Harvinder Chandigarh (talk) 12:03, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

- Farmers suicides
- Drug Problem
- Environment degradation (Deforestation, Water depletion/pollution,Soil ,Air and noise pollution,endangered species ,flora and fauna and water bodies etc.)
- Cultural and Natural Heritage
- Articles on vanishing folk art traditions and artists such as ਪੁਆਧੀ ਅਖਾੜਾ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ,ਰੱਬੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਰੋਂਪੁਰੀ already created in Punjabi.
- Female feticide and Gender isues (which are more critical in Punjab)
- Dalits and Marginalized sections of Punjab
- Status of Hindu,Muslim ,Christian Buddhist and other minorities in Punjab.
I have added this list on the relavant page also .You may made any modification if required.

Search tool
Regarding the extremely useful newspaper search tool available from Wikipedia:WikiProject_India/Guide/Tools (which I use a lot in assessing AfD and New Page entries), I notice that in recent weeks the Google-based version linked there has ceased working (giving a 404), though its prior instance at http://tito-dutta.my3gb.com is still available. First Light
Hi, Have you read the book First Light (Ganguly novel) (in the original Bengali)? If you haven't, you really MUST MUST do it ASAP. It occurred to me that Wikipedia might be the best place to "promote" this novel. What we need to do is come up with a complete list of historical characters mentioned in this book (as a section in the WP article) AND introduce a single para titled "In fiction" (or something like that) in each of those biographies. - Solomon7968 : It should not be treated as a single novel; this is actually part of a trilogy: Sei Samay - Pratham Alo - Purba Paschim, each in 2 volumes and encompassing a specific period of the histoty of Bengal. Yes, I have read all three. The author had made very exhaustive research into the then happenings and lives of the historical characters. He also provided a long bibliography. Anyway, I am active mainly in Wikisource, so cannot devote time in WP. However, I think I may be having digital copies of all three somewhere in my hard disc, I have a huge collection, so I'll have to check. If u wish, I can make a list of historical characters in Pratham Alo for u, but it will take some time. Hrishikes (talk) 10:01, 24 August 2016 (UTC)

- Yeah I read it from PDF too. And presumably the title is in English to avoid conflict with the Bangladeshi newspaper "Prothom Alo". Hrishikes, it is okay if you can come up with ALL the characters of the trilogy and then we can start adding the para I mentioned earlier in each of those biographies. Solomon7968 It is very difficult, almost every character is historical, another large group is mentioned in passing. From the first few pages (15-20 or so) I got this list (I know these people to be historical):
