Drasar Monumental
Drasar Monumental was initially not considered independently notable, but has since appeared in interviews on television news discussing the music industry, as well as various kinds of music. In addition to this his prominence as a Hip Hop producer and DJ continue to rise. Since the initial deletion was because independent prominence had yet to be established I feel as though this rectifies that issue. Additionally, the profile was deleted a second time because I was unaware of the re-submission process that I am currently engaged in. Apologies for that. -The Swann (talk) 20:42, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
- Declined. @The Swann: The article was restored to your userspace at User:The Swann/Drasar Monumental in October 2015 and that draft is still in the state it was in when the original was deleted. The most recent deleted version cites the same sources and actually has less detail. Furthermore, what we need is coverage of him by independent secondary sources. Appearing on TV doesn't make a person notable, and interviews are considered primary sources, not secondary sources. Unless it can be improved to show that he meets WP:MUSICBIO in some way, there is no reason to restore it in main article space in its current state. I have put a tag on the userspace page to include a button to submit it for review. If you really want it restored to main space, you should consult with one of the deleting administrators, MBisanz or Materialscientist. We cannot restore articles by request on this page if they had previously been deleted due to a deletion discussion, as this one was. ~Amatulić (talk) 00:12, 16 March 2016 (UTC)

Nancy Rotering
The requirements are one reliable source. It uses the Chicago tribune. The information is all accurate and comes from reliable source. If there are some pieces of information that are from "unreliable" sources(but I assure you the information is 100% accurate), then just remove that info. There are several parts of it that come from unbiased, reliable sources. -AarimK (talk) 01:35, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
- Not done - this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nancy Rotering, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user Malcolmxl5 (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:30, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
- AarimK, one source is usually the minimum for passing a WP:BLPPROD but you almost always need more than one source in order to establish notability for a person per WP:NBIO. The only time one source is enough is when the source is claiming something that would establish notability on that basis alone, like winning an Oscar or becoming President of a country. Rotering is a mayor, but this doesn't always confer notability on Wikipedia. It can make it more likely, but that's never a guarantee and it's actually fairly common for mayors of smaller areas to fail notability guidelines. In any case, we can't restore it via REFUND and you'd need to talk to the deleting admin first. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:30, 16 March 2016 (UTC)

PrivacyGuard
The article created for PrivacyGuard was very neutral in nature, and simply described exactly what the company is and does. There was no call-to-action, or subjective copy, it was all 100% factual. Yes, it was immediately deleted as "unambiguous advertising". Can you please let me know what led to this decision, and how we can address it? Thank you -Affinion (talk) 16:20, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Affinion: Are you kidding? With unsubstantiated peacock terms like "pioneer" and "comprehensive"? This was clearly written by someone with a conflict of interest (read that linked document) for the purpose of using Wikipedia as a publicity platform, and that isn't what Wikipedia is for. If you want to try again, please follow the directions at Wikipedia:Articles for creation (AFC) instead of writing it in main article space. AFC is the only realistic venue available for an author with a conflict of interest. ~Amatulić (talk) 06:07, 17 March 2016 (UTC)

Robby_Starbuck
Page should be reviewed again, below are some notes on his notability. During Review User:Carrite AgreedWikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Robby_Starbuck that he was notable saying: * Keep - The Smashing Pumpkins connection indicates status as a video director. THIS is an interview with Vents magazine, HERE is another with Alter the Press, AND ANOTHER with Examiner.com (url missing an R) due to WP's URL blacklist), FAN Q&A from BlogTalk Radio, and so forth. Passes GNG. Carrite (talk) 15:42, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
It's notable that he directed the official music video for the Paramount Pictures produced motion picture TERMINATOR: GENYSIS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSLFITzW0nA
see BET article regarding his work with AKON http://www.bet.com/news/music/2014/03/11/akon-opens-up-about-b-howard-being-michael-jackson-s-son.html
IFC Channel article on Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins that touches on Robby Starbuck's work http://www.ifc.com/2011/07/billy-corgan-and-the-fools-journey-part-1
I searched for his reach online to find his YouTube page has nearly 100 million views and 100,000 subscribers. This rationally tells me that his work is notable to many people. See YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/user/RobbyStarbuck
From the previous citations on the deleted page page his work directing music videos for Smashing Pumpkins, Akon, Eve, Sarah Bareilles, Megadeth, Snoop Dogg, Shiny Toy Guns and Metric is notable by community standards. He has been nominated for the best video music video award at the MMVA's on Much Music in Canada as well which was cited on the old page.
I believe this entry falls into a category where the notability is very much established online. Please review and have this undeleted. -2605:E000:224B:4C00:F189:7F41:7BF6:A097 (talk) 20:00, 18 March 2016 (UTC)

The article read like a resume and did not establish how he would pass notability guidelines on Wikipedia. Mr. Agarwal exists and made a website, but neither of those things are inherently notable. Now the article says that he won awards in cricket, but you would have to establish that these awards were extremely major as he'd have to be a professional player in order to be considered notable. - This was deleted after discussion at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files/2016 January 2#File:Ivan-wiki.jpg. The result was that the image appeared to be licensed at Flickr under cc-by-nd – the "nd" standing for "no derivatives" – that is, not under a suitably-free copyright license. So what I suggest is: change the license it's under at Flickr, making sure you pick one that is compatible with use here. Then come back here, provide a link to the Flickr page to make it easy on us, and also reference this thread, and ask for undeletion. Best regards--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 22:03, 17 March 2016 (UTC)

Could you please undelete the page James McCreet or at least return the content to me for rewriting. The page wasn't used for a promotion. The articles about James McCreet can be found on the following websites (not just jamesmccreet.co.uk):

- I'll restore it to you. Offhand I don't see where the deleted version was overly promotional, so I think what triggered it was more content that had been removed prior to nomination. I'm going to tag Jimfbleak so he's aware that I did this since technically we're not supposed to restore G11 articles. This was fairly borderline so I don't think he'll mind as much since you're interested in working on it. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:13, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Zuta: You can find it at User:Zuta/James McCreet. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:17, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Zuta:, @Tokyogirl79: Zuta created a whole swathe of articles promoting his books, and I'm afraid this was collateral damage. I probably wouldn't have deleted it as a stand alone, so no problem with your restoration. Zuta appears not to have declared any conflict of interest despite having only edited in this area. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:46, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Zuta:, do you have a conflict of interest in this situation? Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:07, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Tokyogirl79, Jimfbleak, and Zuta:I happened to find the walled garden of James Mcreet articles and tagged them all for deletion. It was all blatant promotion: huge long articles with weak blog reviews. From the Macmillan new authors page above, you can compare Mcreet's career with that otf the other authors. The other authors on the Macmillan list have diverse and varied reviews. Mcreet has been reviewd once in the Guardian-- that is all I could find. Most of his notoriety comes from this walled garden of articles. I also suspect, in a nice and kind and civil way, that there is a strong WP:COI here also. it would be very very odd indeed that a single non-associated person would go to that much trouble. (I also found this undelete by accident, as Zuta could not be bothered to tag me.)HappyValleyEditor (talk) 23:41, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- PS: check just the Guardian links provided above by Zuta. One is an author profile for people who write for the Guardian. Another is Mcreet writing about what makes a good horror book. Another is a very small mention of one book, not a review. The fourth is someone interviewing Mcreet to ask him what his top ten Victorian crime novels are. None are significant mentions of Mcreet's books. I see this as a clear case of the emperor has no clothes.HappyValleyEditor (talk) 23:51, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

African engineering
Afro engineering now exists as an article. If the content was at all useful or sourced, I request it be restored before I redirect the title to the new article about the term, so I can add any non-redundant material it contained to the target if appropriate. The deleting admin hasn't edited in about 10 years, so I came here instead of requesting this on their talk page. I'm also curious about the now deleted page history of "Nigger-rigging", and if there would be anything along the same lines there.-—Godsy(TALKCONT) 08:10, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Godsy: There wasn't anything useful in either history, as it didn't expand on the existing article. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:46, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
- At its maximum extent the page said: "African Engineering also know as "nigger-rigging" is a dorugatory term used to denote poor workmanship. The term is derived from mostly southern american states where blacks are predominatly less productive and have poorer quality standards than other races." as written by . 63.241.158.33 with no references or sections. Other version repeated the title or were just vandalism. For nigger-rigging the biggest content was "to nigger rig is to fix something in a crappy way; improvising another word for this is mickeymouse"; credit to 64.88.86.3; or "A slang term (usually considered derogatory) describing a hasty and careless method of work. Example sentence: "I fixed the door hinges today, but it won't last as it's nigger-rigged"" credit to 192.198.148.97; Again no refs or categories. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:48, 23 March 2016 (UTC)

Jordan Schweitzer
This article was deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jordan Schweitzer. I asked the closing User:Sarahj2107 to move it to draftspace, however she said that I should go to Wikipedia:Deletion review - however reading the guidelines over there, I think this is a more appropriate venue. The article is for a player who has been signed to the fully-professional team Seattle Sounders FC 2 playing in the United Soccer League listed in WP:FPL as fully professional; with the season starting shortly, it's very likely that this article will be recreated soon. I'm asking it be moved to draftspace rather than user space, as I'm not the primary contributor to the article and I don't want to discourage other contributors from helping to improve the article before the player makes a professional debut, especially as my editing is very sporadic. Thanks, -Nfitz (talk) 15:55, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- Well... the problem is that this was deleted via AfD and I'm hesitant to restore anything if Sarahj2107 has declined to move it to the draftspace like she did here. As long as she's fine with this, I'm OK with moving it to the draftspace. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:04, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

- @Nfitz: I've moved this to the draftspace. My only request is that this not be restored this without Sarah's consent. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:13, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. Though part of the challenge is to move it quickly if and when the player makes a fully professional appearance, before someone wastes time writing a different article. Does Sarahj2107 agree that it can be moved if Jordan Schweitzer does appear on the pitch (as opposed to the bench) for Seattle Sounders FC 2 (which could be as soon as Friday, when the season starts). Nfitz (talk) 01:16, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Nfitz: There is no huge hurry, if someone else creates a different article they can be merged. Once there is proof that he meets WP:GNG or WP:NFOOTBALL and the article is updated accordingly then its fine to move it. Sarahj2107 (talk) 07:54, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
