Greetings, While de-orphaning Category:Orphaned articles from September 2024 articles, I found these which you created. These articles may be Run-of-the-mill, nothing exceptional. A two sentence article is missing notable information such as when established, people, events or cuisine worth including in the content. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia encyclopedia.

Portland (area) street crossings
I found this concerning pedestrian crossing flags in Sandy, if you want to expand the pedestrian crossings article to include the Portland area outside of the city proper. Not the greatest source, but here is an indication that guerilla pedestrian flags have appeared in the Concordia neighborhood, too. ☆ Bri (talk) 18:24, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Bri Thanks! I'd prefer to keep the entry PDX-specific, but I'll take a look at the Concordia news. Hoping to find more sources about artistic crossings; there don't seem to be as many as there are in Seattle. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:28, 14 September 2024 (UTC)

Extended content
|
---|
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on St. Mary's Cemetery (Washington, D.C.) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. so...want to dyk-nominate it? It does clear prose requirements and has been expanded fivefold (383 prose characters before today to 2007 now). You're welcome to nominate it, as the article creator – I do have two or three interesting hooks I can already come up with from the article, so if you'd like, I'll post them here. I imagine you might have some interesting hooks as well. I really don't have a preference on who nominates it if we're doing a DYK nomination; also, the article was part of an edit-a-thon at WikiConference North America 2024 today in Indianapolis, so you're welcome! :) ~ Tails Wx 02:42, 6 October 2024 (UTC)

Invitation to participate in a research
Extended content
|

Hello, The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey. You do not have to be an Administrator to participate. The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement . Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns. Kind Regards, |

DYK for Jumbo's
On 28 October 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Jumbo's, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the owners of Jumbo's claimed it became the first white-owned restaurant in Miami to serve and employ black people in the late 1960s? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Jumbo's. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Jumbo's), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
