Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Interstate 90, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please read MOS:DASH and double-check your edits for potential formatting errors (like [[US 14]]). Autopatrolled granted

Hi Neverbuffed, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Chetsford (talk) 23:02, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Spanish sports categories

Hi Neverbuffed: The appropriate category for the 2020 Pinatar Cup article is Category:March 2020 sports events in Spain (part of a tree) not Category:2020 sports events in Spain. Hugo999 (talk) 22:52, 16 September 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:2020 sports events in Spain

A tag has been placed on Category:2020 sports events in Spain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! New page

Hi! Thanks for making the Fowey and Tywardreath (electoral division) article. There were quite a few bits and bobs I've had to fix (have a look at my edits to the article), so please take care when copy-pasting to create new articles, especially with making sure references are correct! It's great if you'd like to help, but it makes it much easier if you do it right first time (I can walk you through any bits you don't understand if that would help). Also, be aware that some of the electoral divisions for Cornwall Council have also been divisions of other bodies too (see St Ives North (electoral division)), which makes their pages much longer and more complicated; you might want to steer clear of these (often single word divisions or those without an "&") until you're confident you can get it right. Park YooChun

Hi I am editing this page then a few more celebs.

Yes I have taken info off and have put reasons into talk pages. If this is incorrect plse tell me how you'd prefer reasons there. They ar valid reasons and fall into Wikipedia policy. I am removing non-viable sources of information as per the Wikipedia Sources page and also have found articles that dispute or have different point of view. It is my take om impartiality that Wikipedia do not take sides so if we source one side of the story then we are taking sides. It's better to just not have the info there. This changed and when new information comes out in invalidating old according to WP:Prod, we don't need detail It is meant to be an encyclopedia and not a news article so we have to hold basic facts much like U2's page and Justin Bieber's page. I am changing this celebrity to look like these 2 celebrity pages in format and to include real news. The Impartiality policy of Wikipedia is the main reason and the valid sources which I can prove for every article now but it would take up a lot of space in history to do that. How can I get these edits to be accepted on terms of reason on wikipedia where limit of space is NB?20footfish (talk) 00:15, 20 January 2021 (UTC) Thank you :)

@User:20footfish, I removed your edit due to an unexplained content removal, the thing is I didn't see what the previous edit was, so just disregard my edit and go on with your day, sorry! Neverbuffed (talk) 00:18, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

Please check on me and help me? Park YooChun

FYI there will be many edits like this to come.

I am sorry. I used to Edit for Wikipedia in 2007 and I did a lot under another username. I actually have contact with this celebrity and although as I have told him, I am unbias and will only follow policy, I am also aware of the impact on him and the policies around living people. I can't change the info but if I can find policy that allows us to remove info for his mental health, is that not the best way to go? I am still a little concerned about where Wikipedia stand with responsibility around the mental health of a living person. I am fair and impartial always and I am professional. I will remove items that can be disproved with other articles and I can keep it all on file or send it to this celebrity. To link an article to every edit will take me years LOL so I don't want to do that unless some-one actually complains. Do you think this is okay and if more edits like what I have just done, happen.. would you see them? I really don't want them undone by admin without a chat first. It's so much work.20footfish (talk) 00:25, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

Actually, I'll probably never see them again! The only reason I saw it and reverted it is because I was on vandalism patrol. As long as you are proceeding to be unbias and follow policies, you're clear to go! Sorry again! @User:20footfish Neverbuffed (talk) 00:44, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for explaining. I will have to practice patience if it pops up again and just continues until this page is as impartial as possible. Thanks. It's so much work, that I will only apply for new roles with Wikipedia once I have fixed this mans page. Kind regards20footfish (talk) 00:46, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

Hello Kline! Your additions to Hello Trouble (1932 film) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. All other images must be made available under a free and open license that allows commercial and derivative reuse to be used on Wikipedia.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Moneytrees🏝️Talk/CCI help 02:58, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

I also removed the plot you added to The Deadline (1931 film). Please don't copy plot summaries from other sources. Thanks, Moneytrees🏝️Talk/CCI help 03:09, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Minor and not-so-minor edits

Hello, I'm BlackcurrantTea. I looked at your edits out of curiosity, and noticed that many of them were marked as minor, although they weren't minor in Wikipedia terms, e.g. a !vote at AfD, a comment on a user's talk page, the addition of a species, and adding a date of death to a biography. If other editors have 'hide minor edits' ticked in their watchlist and recent changes preferences, these changes would be hidden from them. Please take another look at WP:MINOR and be careful when deciding whether to mark an edit as such. Thanks, BlackcurrantTea (talk) 01:02, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

User Vandalism on MeidasTouch

User continues to add defamatory story about MeidasTouch to page. The story was an accusation by Dave Portnoy that was completely unproven and debunked on multiple occasions. The accusation was denied by all parties. False information is being spread to defame group and vandalize page. If I said Kline was a rapist, that doesn’t mean there should be a Wikipedia page about Kline being a rapist without definitive proof, or else this website would be a source of false and defamatory accusations throughout. User has been warned on multipleo occasions about spreading fake information for the purpose of vandalizing and defaming group. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HeroicSSD (talkcontribs) 03:23, 26 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi, @HeroicSSD, if you can provide a source debunking this claim, I'd be happy to resolve this conflict. Just need a source is all. Thank you for your cooperation. Kline | yes? 03:25, 26 February 2022 (UTC)

Here is MeidasTouch explaining that the accusations were made up, Jordan categorically denying saying it, and explaining why the accusations are so outlandish: [1]

Here is a video of MeidasTouch BEFORE Portnoy’s accusations saying that Rogan should not be canceled and that other groups should instead compete with him rather than silence him. [2] — Preceding unsigned comment added by HeroicSSD (talkcontribs) 03:36, 26 February 2022 (UTC)

MediasTouch Page protection request

Hi HeroicSSD was at it again with removal of story involving Meidas Touch again and it was with the portnoy interview that was sourced news article and everything. Persesus (talk) 22:00, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi, @Persesus, unfortunately, there is not enough edit history right now for current page protection. If it gets worse, I will put in a request for page protection. Thanks for bringing this up regardless, this page got off my watchlist somehow but now it'll be on permanently. Thanks, Kline | yes? 22:03, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

Unexplained removal of cn

Hello, I'm User4edits. I noticed that you recently removed content from Indian espionage case in Qatar without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You removed a demanding template:citation needed. See your edit here. User4edits (talk) 05:29, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

Radcliffe FC Roster

Hi - I've noted you've removed the roster from the Radcliffe FC wiki page to uphold standards... are you able to explain what it is needs to be done differently for it to uphold those standards and remain up on the page? I'm quite new to this and can't seem to find anything, other than the current squads for similar clubs seems to be pretty much in line with what was there.

Thanks!

Hi @Razzlewis, I removed the roster section since the team was in a lower league. Most teams in such lower league don't have a roster whatsoever and I removed it to make the articles more standardized. If you can update it often enough, I'd be happy to keep the roster section.
