You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2016 shooting of Dallas police officers. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
- I know the story is hot with editors, but you are reverting left & right here. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 21:14, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) There is more leeway about 3rr on current events articles given the rate of information change, but you're being disruptive at this point. Please stop and join discussion on the talk page. EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 21:14, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
You also seem to be WP:SHOUTING a lot. That will just lead to more edit warring. -- Gestrid (talk) 21:17, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- Gestrid actually Lihaas is trying to refer you all to Wikipedia essays, guidelines and policies which are normally in capitals, such as WP:DEADHORSE, WP:VERIFY, WP:BEANS etc. So it's not really shouting in this context. The Rambling Man (talk) 21:29, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- True, but there's also this. Also, all the exclamation points seem like shouting to me. -- Gestrid (talk) 21:32, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- "THERE IS". Ok, fair enough, but he's being emphatic, after all bold and italics don't work in edit summaries. The Rambling Man (talk) 21:37, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- True. But I still say he needs to stop using so many exclamation points. WP:SHOUT also says that. -- Gestrid (talk) 21:45, 8 July 2016 (UTC)

Contests
User:Dr. Blofeld has created Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/Contests. The idea is to run a series of contests/editathons focusing on each region of Africa. He has spoken to Wikimedia about it and $1000-1500 is possible for prize money. As someone who has previously expressed interest in African topics, would you be interested in contributing to one or assisting draw up core article/missing article lists? He says he's thinking of North Africa for an inaugural one in October. If interested please sign up in the participants section of the Contest page, thanks.♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:30, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

MedalistTable
Why did you remove the Medalist Table in Chronological_summary_of_the_2016_Summer_Olympics? Your reasoning : "consistency (medalsit is listed and details are on separate page, no need to duplicate)" is not valid as 1) the current version is not consistent: medal winners of Judo are presented in a different fashion than Cycling. In the previous version all medal winners were listed in a uniform fashion. 2) Medalist and details are on several other pages but never in the chronological order. I would argue that almost all the info on Chronological_summary_of_the_2016_Summer_Olympics can be found elsewhere in WP, for example results of team matches. And even then medal winners are still there in your version it that they are just presented in a non-uniform fashion. So do you have a better reason? Hg03u (talk) 12:09, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
Kosovo
Why did you remove the bit about Kosovo winning its first overall medal from 2016 Summer Olympics medal table? The information about Kosovo making its debut isn't available on the medal table page, and it's been common practice in previous years to note which nations won their first medal. Smartyllama (talk) 11:24, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
- Nevermind, it was there. This is what I get for editing before breakfast. Smartyllama (talk) 12:31, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited United Nations Secretary-General election, 2016, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Clarin. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

September 2016
Your recent editing history at 2016 Kashmir unrest shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
