Please stop edit warring against talk page consensus

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2015 Russian Sukhoi Su-24 shootdown. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

You've been around long enough to know that this was totally unacceptable given that there was agreement on the wording at Talk:2015 Russian Sukhoi Su-24 shootdown#Misleading lede and that you'd been pinged to explain your previous revert there. Edit warring against a talk page agreement without bothering to even comment in the discussion is pretty awful conduct. Nick-D (talk) 22:10, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Third GECF summit, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Divide and conquer. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly election, 2014, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Naeem Akhtar. Deir ez-Zor offensive (January 2016)

Earlier, you requested no move be made before a consensus is reached on the discussion page. Consensus was reached via a discussion you yourself participated in. You did not ask for an official move request to be made. I respected your position (which was the correct one) that all have to voice their opinions first before a move is made. However, all opinions have been voiced and they are all (apart from you) for the move/rename. Also, one more thing, with these two edits here [1][2] you basically made two separate reverts of an edit I made less than 24 hours before. This is a violation of the 1RR rule which can get you blocked. I would ask that you cancel your two edits and not make more than 1 revert per 24 hours in the future. Cheers! EkoGraf (talk) 15:30, 23 January 2016 (UTC)

I just thought about it, considering most are in agreement the offensive itself needs an article, would you be willing that we have two separate articles? In case you still want to argue over the issue. One article for the larger offensive and one small article for the killings/massacre? The massacre article would be a sub-article of the larger offensive article. Of course, I'm expecting there will be trouble with editor LoveToLondon who would oppose this. February 2016

Hello, I'm Montanabw. I noticed that you recently removed some content from American Pharoah without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Montanabw(talk) 23:14, 9 February 2016 (UTC)

(Actually, you did explain why, but a L2 warning was not appropriate) This is a Featured Article and as such, major changes need to be taken to the talk page and discussed.

DYK nomination of 2015 Corsican protests

Hello! Your submission of 2015 Corsican protests at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! BlueMoonset (talk) 04:53, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Lihaas, further issues have arisen. Please take a look at the nomination page. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:17, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
Lihaas, this is a final call: you have not done any work on the issues raised at the nomination page. The nomination will likely be closed in the next couple of days unless action is taken to address the problems noted. Thank you for your attention. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:45, 18 February 2016 (UTC)

ITN nom

Please do not make statements about other users in your nominations; there are appropriate places to do that if you desire to. It also unnecessarily stokes more conflict. You are welcome to repost without commenting on other users. 331dot (talk) 12:39, 31 January 2016 (UTC)

On another ITN note, your comments on February 17 could easily be taken as a very big BLP problem - essentially accusing a government of murdering its own citizens. Do you think you should self-redact them? GoldenRing (talk) 12:24, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
