Proposed deletion of Togo Telecom
The article Togo Telecom has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Writing Week Italy
I see you do many articles about Italy (and Italian soccer). If you've done something new in the past two week, you could write it in meta:Writing week/Italy. Bye!--Alexmar983 (talk) 12:59, 22 September 2016 (UTC)

October 2016
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Blerim Džemaili. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges.
Please do not restore this trivial non-fact to the article. Nobody cares about his eligibility for a passport. The grammar is also bad. In addition, the source you provided makes no mention of the passport. This looks like your own original research. Dr. K. 13:34, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
Intesa Sanpaolo
Hi Matthew hk, I have proposed an update for the article dedicated to Intesa Sanpaolo (here). I noted that you have contributed a lot to the page. Therefore, since I haven't received any feedback and more than 10 days have passed I wonder if you could help me. Thank you in advance
Invite to the African Destubathon
Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 8
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Shaoguan Iron and Steel, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Qujiang District. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:22, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month
Chinese companies
Hi Matthew hk,
I'm John from German Wikipedia, where I am probably the only guy writing about companies from Russia, Japan and China. What I would like to ask you is whether you have actual lists of the constituents of CSI 300 Index or SZSE Component Index? The List of companies listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange is also very outdated.
I prefer writing about manufacturing companies. Do you know any list of the largest companies in China, which can be filtered for manufacturing?--Kopiersperre (talk) 17:58, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- trying to fixing the steel companies of China, the top 10 at least. (Second project is the current 53 centrally owned companies which report to SASAC) The state-owned enterprise usually have a paired Group and [Joint-Stock] Limited structure, which the parent usually have a huge financial investment (Such as Baosteel Group and Shougang Group). So far many articles were messed up very well. Also China Great Wall Asset Management was not created, many regional owned enterprise not created (Qiangsheng Holding, a taxi company ), all of the components of FTSE China A50 Index and Hang Seng China 50 Index were not created (top 50 companies of mainland China and all PRC stock exchanges respectively), such as China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings a landlord.
- For CSI 300 companies (and sub-index CSI 100), the web site of the provider is here: http://www.csindex.com.cn/ But most of the information i am afraid was dig out from company annual financial report, which they only publish Chinese version. CSI 300 Constituents List is here and CSI 100 (top 100) is here. Instead of creating list for SZSE Component Index (link here), i would start with sub-index SZSE 100 first (top 100).
- And here is CSI sub-index CSI 300 Materials (for Chemicals, Construction Materials, Containers & Packaging, Metals & Mining, Paper & Forest Products etc.)
- just beware of mess article title which the article was created but not updated to reflect the name change, or different romanization. Matthew_hk tc 18:19, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- I've just created the full list at CSI 300 Index#Constituents. For an european it's very unusual that groups can have several stock-listed subsidiaries. ::Do you have a list of the 53 centrally owned companies?--Kopiersperre (talk) 14:43, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
- They have the Chinese version [1] only.
The article SASAC may have all the entry already, just need to cleanup to distinguish the state-owned holding company and publicly traded subsidiary. Matthew_hk tc 02:45, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
- adding entry. Matthew_hk tc 03:06, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
Shanxi Coking
Hi, Matthew hk. AS your edit summary did not include any information, could you please explain wwhy you moved Shanxi Coking to Shanxi Coking (Shanxi Coking Coal Group's subsidiary)? The page name was not ambiguous and the new name is not in line with WP:NCCORP. Thank you. Beagel (talk) 06:58, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- Shanxi Coking, Shanxi Coke, Shanxi Coking Coal refer to a way bigger conglomerate, which Shanxi Coking [Joint-Stock] is a small subsidiary. Matthew_hk tc 07:00, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- and i just borrowed the style of Atari, Inc. (Atari, SA subsidiary), not sure is it the best way to distinguish the parent and the subsidiary. Matthew_hk tc 14:59, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to use this for edits. I had made an edit on 126 Madison Ave. which you deleted and I don't understand why. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:E182:A200:DC43:3A6A:4778:4A5D (talk) 15:21, 24 December 2016 (UTC)
- Hello, i assume you changed from this ip: 2604:2000:E182:A200:1DF0:4FF0:78FE:DB56 (talk). As you did not receive the templated welcome message, i make it clear here: wikipedia generally only accept content that verifiable by external source (newspaper article, book, academic journal, reliable website (blog generally not accepted), etc.) As you added content regarding former resident in 126 Madison Avenue, please provide such prove, so that you contribution could be added back to the "visible" to others. I lived at 15 E. 30th (which was actually formally known as the Irvington Building) for 5 years, so a friend sent me a link to the wikipedia page for the now 126 Madison. Looking at it made me think about Don Ahn so I went to that page and it says at the top "This article has multiple issues. Please help improve it [...] This article is an orphan, as no other articles link to it. Please introduce links to this page from related articles" So I thought it would be useful to add. There used to be a website for his tai chi studio which is now defunct since he passed away a few years ago. http://estatesny.com/2010/05/don-ahns-sale/ . So it seems to quickly be becoming forgotten which is what I think of as the whole point of wikipedia. I don't think that just because some developers want to rebrand the building as 126 Madison and create a wiki page to make it more marketable to sell expensive condos should make it any more fact worthy than an actual famous artist who produced his work there — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:E182:A200:48F1:4D6E:4C7F:EE25 (talk) 00:07, 25 December 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, personal experience can't be added to Wikipedia as I remember WP:original research. You have to provide some prove that the artist live in that building. (If HK company, I would check where the director declared his residence, but not sure the system in US and did the artist left public document or news article on his residence, thus base on current encyclopedic policy, he may not be added to resident section of the building.) Hi! I'm sorry I can't agree with this revision of yours. There're Home Credit Group and Home Credit Bank, so it's worth creating a dab. Best regards, Ungesellig (talk) 08:16, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
Home Credit Group aka "Home Credit N.V." was commonly known as "Home Credit", Home Credit & Finance Bank is a subsidiary of Home Credit Group, thus it is pretty much certainly Home Credit Group is the rightful owner of "Home Credit" namespace. Moreover, no cut and paste move. Matthew_hk tc 08:34, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
Home credit listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Home credit. Since you had some involvement with the Home credit redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Cnilep (talk) 00:08, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
