Domain Five Enterprises Limited / HGC

From what I read this company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hutchison Telecom, perhaps currently the second largest mobile network in the territory, and they aren't known for selling any VPN service. Meanwhile HGC had been spun off years ago and sold to another company. It is no longer a company under the HWL umbrella. Please make sure all you submitted are sufficiently factchecked and reliable beyond reasonable doubt. Cheers. 124.217.189.34 (talk) 09:57, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I thought the fact is already more than clear in the RfC discussion. Let's wait till that's closed then, and you may consider withdrawing the RfPP. Meanwhile please write in English, and do not revert other unrelated changes, e.g., the extraneous word "which". 124.217.189.34 (talk) 10:06, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

The Danish realm

Regarding your recent edits to the Country article, and the addition of the {{cn}} tag with respect to the Danish realm in particular. Please take a look at this and see if that's what you are looking for and would want to be added. Please edit responsibly, be civil, and do not disrupt to make a point. 1.64.46.31 (talk) 23:01, 24 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Regarding this edit summary (Please don't remove cn tag without adding a citation. Thanks for the link but actually it just prove Greenland is not part of Denmark , but does not prove it usually refer as a country.): Please refer to the linked article, i.e., Countries of the United Kingdom, wrt the cases of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Since you didn't specify when you previously add the Cn tag it was not known whether you were referring to the four home nations or the overseas territories. As for the Faroe Islands and Greenland, Ctrl+F for "two countries" in the source you've added. Read carefully before you made bold, false claims. (And yes by asking you to read carefully it's also a demand for an apology.) 1.64.46.31 (talk) 19:48, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Military of Hong Kong

Regarding your recent edits: Was the SPI conclusive? You got the duty to be honest especially when you're submitting a request for closure. 1.64.46.31 (talk) 20:41, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

It appears that you didn't even check against the list of IP addresses actually submitted to that SPI you referred to (an archived SPI which was apparently inconclusive). 1.64.46.31 (talk) 20:49, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
You talked of off-site canvassing here and there but have you actually got any evidence? Would that merely be your suspicion? 1.64.46.31 (talk) 20:54, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

SIPG

Thanks, I was making multiple edits over several pages and accidently deleted one paragraph, was planning to re-write it and moving it above the Forbes report but then went busy with some other edits first, and forgot to re-add it. By the way, do you think that the article's name should be "Shanghai Haigang FC" like on Soccerway and Xinhua, or the current English name like its used on ESPN, Supchina, and several German websites (1, 2, 3)? On Shanghai Daily it says that the English name was not even announced yet, was the article moved too soon by User:Qby? Snowflake91 (talk) 19:32, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Country

You referred to this article a number of times (Special:Diff/1002232189, Special:Diff/1002241912, Special:Diff/1002232512, Special:Diff/1002693375). But you've never elaborated why you think there are edits of concerned (except this: Special:Diff/1002246246, which refers to an entirely uncontentious edit: Special:Diff/1000958824). Would you please explain? I went through the edit history and found the only issue which went back and forth recently was about the Holy See and the Vatican City State. 1.64.46.31 (talk) 21:14, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

If the edits are back and forth, this count as edit war and disruptive editing. Even they may be done by more than one ip on one side, admin may just count them as a whole as the ip's ISPs are all from HK. Matthew hk (talk) 06:54, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Removing bus services in Tuen Ma line station pages

Dear Matthew hk,

I removed the bus services connected to Tuen Ma line stations (Ma On Shan, Heng On, Tai Shui Hang, City One, Sha Tin Wai, Che Kung Temple, Tai Wai) per WP:NOTTRAVEL as Wikipedia is not a travel guide. Thank you.

Aravindhan Ravikumar (talk) 09:39, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yeah these should be removed if it is so detailed (likes bus route), but if more generic approach that mention the name of the road network or the railway network i think it is fine. Also the section was added by someone else and i just copy and paste. Matthew hk (talk) 09:35, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
I had also removed the bus services in the MTR station pages (Fo Tan, Shek Mun, Tai Wo, Sheung Shui, Kwai Hing, Tiu Keng Leng, Kowloon Tong and Lok Fu) per WP:NOTTRAVEL as Wikipedia is not a travel guide. Aravindhan Ravikumar (talk) 05:54, 7 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Matthew hk, I have completed the move you requested at the RMT. Please feel free to initiate a RM discussion to discuss the primary topic that belongs to Cathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle. I'd guess it to be a disambiguation page listing both Cathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle, Szczecin and Cathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle, Tunja and any related article. ─ The Aafī (talk) 03:49, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Samuel Tak Lee, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Li. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Reverting moves

Hello. I took care of your requests at WP:RM/TR, but just wanted you to know, in case you don't already, that you should be able to do these kinds of moves yourself. As long as there is not more than one edit at the redirect that points back to the article to be moved, any autoconfirmed editor should be able to move the article over the redirect. Hi, I wanted to bring this official club source to your attention: Blank officially announces name as Atlanta United Football Club. There is a user who shows strong displays of WP:OWN, WP:ROWN and WP:BATTLEFIELD and wantonly reverts and blocks the addition of the club’s full name to the article. Speedy deletion nomination of Adelino Batista

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Adelino Batista requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Ancona

Hello. As you know, consensus is to avoid creating a single article for each incarnation of an Italian football club article, otherwise we would need five to ten articles just for plenty of teams, including major ones (Palermo, Catania, Parma, etc...). The current Anconitana team (named after Ancona's original name in the 1970s), which is set to be merged with Matelica within weeks, was admitted in 2017 in Prima Categoria (rather than Terza Categoria, as new clubs are usually expected to) as the formally recognized team of the city of Ancona [2]. In fact, we should move towards having only one Ancona article rather than three different ones. --Angelo (talk) 09:43, 21 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

You need to use WP:RM discussion thread for non-routine move. Also please provide reliable source they are the same club, which clearly it not and it is only the custom of it-wiki to group all the illegitimate successor in one umbrellas article. Also, you should read all the updated guideline and engage in WP:Footy discussion or please just gave up your admin rights if you are outdated. Matthew hk (talk) 02:39, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Concern regarding Draft:Ma Tau Wai Road

Hello, Matthew hk. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Ma Tau Wai Road, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 13:01, 27 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

It was an attempt to split "Collapse of building at 45 Ma Tau Wai Road (2010)" from the article Ma Tau Wai as the building complex is not located in Ma Tau Wai. But at the same time there is Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MacDonnell Road (2nd nomination) so that i think i need to assess the notability of the event or the road first in order to push the draft to main namespace.
