Suriyah Ya, Dat al-Majdi (Arabic: سوريا يا ذات المجد, lit. 'O Syria, Who Owns the Glory'), was the national anthem of the Arab Kingdom of Syria, a short-lived state that existed from March 8 to July 24, 1920..[1]. It was written by Mukhtar al-Taneer, and the music was composed by Lebanese Brothers Ahmed and Mohammed Flayfel[2][3]
The Anthem was relinquished after the conquest and incorporation of the Arab Kingdom of Syria into French Syria.
