I spent a considerable time on this article and I have just had a baby so I haven't had time to re submit it, if it's at all possible to retrieve it I'd be most grateful. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nathitchcock (talkcontribs) 19:04, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Draft:Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC)

Reached out to RACC board of directors for clarification on a few items, which took some time to receive. Now that I have this information, I believe the page can be reasonably completed and accepted for publishing. —Amgray19 (talk) 19:34, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Azamara Club Cruises

I wanted this page restored yet again because I believe it was yet again unfairly deleted even after I tried to recreate the page. This is an information about a cruise line and its vessels are still sailing with the cruise line and I believe the page should be restored again because there is still information about it, also I want to update it, so that it is up to date. —Angelgreat (talk) 21:10, 22, October 2017 (UTC) —Angelgreat (talk) 02:09, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Note: This page was deleted under speedy deletion criterion G4, which means the page is a near-carbon-copy of a page previously deleted via deletion debate. Pages deleted via deletion debate will not be restored here; go to WP:Deletion review or contact the administrator who closed the deletion debate instead. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 07:02, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
Comment I tried to talk to the administrator, but he wouldn't reopen the debate or restore the page, even I tried to reconstruct the page, but it immediately got deleted, so I need to know why I can't reconstruct a deleted page? —Angelgreat (talk) 21:08, 23, October 2017 (UTC) —
My guess is because you didn't pay any attention to the reasons the page was deleted in the first place, as detailed in the original deletion debate. If the page is re-created in such a way that it addresses any and all issues brought up in the deletion rationale(s), then G4 does not apply, simple as that. If it doesn't make any effort to address the issues, it's a textbook G4. You need to take this to WP:Deletion review if the deleting admin will not restore. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 02:49, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

List of countries by telecommunications equipment exports

Deletion rationale was "Dated list which appears to be a product of original research based on 2012 data. No encyclopedic value at this time." So I dont remember what the date of the data was, but more recent figures will now be available, and out of date data isnt a criteria for proding. Quite how it is OR when its referenced to impeccable sources is beyond me. Data on significant aspects of the global economy is inherrantly encyclopedic. Proder is an administrator; I request that another admin explains to him that he is proding articles innapropriately. Thanks. —Willy turner (talk) 12:24, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Deletion rationale was "OR based on 2012 data; also appears to be part of a walled garden around The Observatory of Economic Complexity." Quite how it is OR when its referenced to impeccable sources is beyond me. Date of data isnt a valid criteria for proding. I attempt to create links to and from the rest of wikipedia in all my articles; I feel that accusing me of creating a walled garden isnt assuming good faith. Selman Munson & Lerner

This page was deleted because of a PROD. Nobody at the law firm was notified of the complaint or the deletion. Once the page is restored, we will consider the complaint and make any necessary changes. —74.213.7.194 (talk) 20:33, 18 October 2017 (UTC)

There is no requirement to notify the firm of anything going on within Wikipedia, because it is not "your" article; you have no claim whatsoever to the article or any of its content. That said, the user who created the article was notified, at User talk:Arielgraves. Your firm also has no business making any substantive changes to the article, because you have a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.
Because it was deleted in accordance with WP:PROD, it qualifies for restoration by request, so I have restored it. However, the article looks unsuitable for Wikipedia, so I have nominated it for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Selman Munson & Lerner. You are welcome to make your case, grounded in Wikipedia policy, why the article should be kept. Merely existing is not a valid reason to keep an article about a company. ~Anachronist (talk) 21:24, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
Update: The article has now been deleted again, following the closure of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Selman Munson & Lerner. ~Anachronist (talk) 23:22, 25 October 2017 (UTC)

eXo Platform

It is a software company page that exists for years now in Wikipedia, its content is not about advertising a product since the company really exists for years, and it is business oriented with a professional intent this is why we are looking to feature eXo Platform page again —Nour-hm (talk) 16:49, 25 October 2017 (UTC)

@Nour-hm: Who is this "we" you refer to? If you have any sort of financial relationship with the firm (employee, paid consultant, etc.), you must comply with WP:PAID to disclose your paid editing status.
That said, I have deleted the recently-created Draft talk:EXo Platform (Software), restored the original main space page, and reverted it back to a version prior to your changes that made it seem promotional and led to its deletion. Since you seem to have a conflict of interest about this company, DO NOT attempt to make substantial content changes. Propose your changes on the talk page instead. ~Anachronist (talk) 23:33, 25 October 2017 (UTC)

Instructional Technology Coach

Having worked on this page for many months and hours, mainly relating to the need to write in a more 'encyclopedic' way, now the latest reason for denial of publication related to its supposed lack of 'notability', something I find hard to accept considering:

A Google search for"instructional technology coach" produces 238,000 results

A Google intitle search: 1370 results

Google Scholar search for "instructional technology coach”:

98 results spanning a wide range of notable, authoritative academic sources

A Google Scholar intitle search - two results, one book, one journal

This is just based on the role as described 'Instructional Technology Coach', a search for variations on this nomenclature (described in the article itself) such as 'Digital Literacy Coach' or 'Educational Technology Coach' (EdTech Coach) would lead to a combined total that is far higher.

If a quarter of million specific references to this specific role does not count as notable, then what does?

I revised the title of the article based on feedback in order to use a term with more common usage in Northern America, the original title (commonly used in International Schools) is also notable:

If you Google 'Digital Literacy Coach' you'll see many educational institutions who use this term or the related terms in the article, eg 'Tech Coach' etc. These schools all use the term, and that's not including its derivatives:

These peer reviewed journals also use/refer to the term: O'Connor, D. L., & Ertmer, P. A. (2003). I have yet to receive a reasonable response to this beyond 'because I think so', which strikes me a rather subjective, not to mention displaying a complete disregard for a fellow Wikipedian's work. —MisterMcHugh (talk) 03:08, 26 October 2017 (UTC) --MisterMcHugh (talk) 03:04, 26 October 2017 (UTC)

  • I suggest you speak to the deleting admin, User:Premeditated Chaos, or go to deletion review. This process isn't for restoring pages deleted through a deletion discussion. Note that merely being mentioned by a source is not considered sufficient to establish notability, the source has to devote significant coverage to the subject (i.e. devote a substantial amount of text to discussing it) to qualify. Hut 8.5 20:59, 26 October 2017 (UTC)

ONYC Hair

Per my check the subject is notable, and the deleted administrator said the reason for speedy deletion is because the article has been deleted before, per my check i wasn't the one that wrote the article in 2015, i believe overtime articles should be improved and if there's any issue with an article it should be stated on creating admin's talk page or article talk page considering the stress one has to go through finding sources and an writing an article from a neutral point of view while avoiding Tabloid Journalism, for this reason the deleting administrator's point doesn't seem valid, per Neutral point of view the article should be allowed for more improvements in this case. —Is Nutin 07:00, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

For some reason these were soft-deleted, which opens them up for a refund. This refund came through VRTS ticket # 2017102710003093. As I personally disagree with the close itself (and feel that it should have been an outright deletion) I am posting it here so an un-philosophically-involved admin can deal with it. Please ping me when a decision is made so that I can respond to the customer. Primefac (talk) 17:06, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

@Primefac: After looking at the deleted articles and the OTRS ticket, I would say that it would be inappropriate to restore either of these to main article space unless these individuals are actually notable footballersplayers. They were soft-deleted because only one editor Fenix down (talk · contribs) showed up to comment in both AFDs, but that editor left a rather detailed rationale for deleting rather than just a "per nom" comment, so it seems there's a good case against them being notable subjects. Had I closed those AFD discussions I wouldn't have closed them as soft delete. I don't see the problem in restoring them to draft space for the time being, however. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:13, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll update the customer. Primefac (talk) 19:19, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
I'm not sure what restoring to user space will Do, seemed to me like this is an inherently non notable individual. Unless someone is saying that htye think there are additional sources they can use to show notability I think this would be a waste of time. Fenix down (talk) 21:28, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
@Fenix down: @Primefac: Well, the deleted article claims that player is in the highest-possible Turkish ice hockey league, so would be notable if the player performed in professional games and not just sat on the bench as a backup. Therefore notability is uncertain, and unproven in the article, but due to the level of the league, notability is certainly possible. ~Anachronist (talk) 22:11, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
Notable how? I see nothing at NHOCKEY that suggests he would pass the ANY, so that leaves GNG. Whatxsources have been provided to indicate this is not simply a case of restoring a non notable article to user space? I see nothing to suggest the Turkish league is professional nor anything that suggests merely playing in a professional league is sufficient for the presumption of notability. NHOCKEY is quite clear which leagues are sufficiently notable for players to be presumed notable if they have featured in them and the Turkish league is not one of them. This is a player who must be shown to pass GNG. Fenix down (talk) 22:22, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

  • The first one only had the URL of the university www.szabul.edu.pk/, and other stuff was made by a banned user but was not much anyway. So this means it is best if you start writing again from scratch. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:46, 1 November 2017 (UTC)

{deletia; text of what is presumably the deleted article in its entirety at time of deletion -—Jeremy v^_^v Bori!} — Preceding unsigned comment added by Farah Lodhi (talkcontribs) 12:53, 1 November 2017 (UTC)

Note: The page was deleted as a result of a deletion debate. Admins will not undelete pages that were deleted with discussion here; go to WP:Deletion review or contact the administrator that closed the deletion debate instead. Posting the entire contents of the article here isn't a valid reason to undelete, and even if it were this page explicitly does NOT overturn the results of deletion debates. As such, to help lower the size of the page, I've removed the article text. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 15:57, 1 November 2017 (UTC)

the reason I wish to have the article undeleted is because he is a notable musician and has done many things notable. I found many references to complete the article — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruth NK (talkcontribs) 17:39, 1 November 2017 (UTC)

2017 Pikeville protests

I would appreciate if this article could be moved to my userspace. I'd like to see if there's anything there worth merging into the page on Nationalist Front (United States), the group behind the event. The event is briefly mentioned in the "Front" article. Thank you. —K.e.coffman (talk) 02:50, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

Euromnis

EurOmnis is a yearly conference for developers using Omnis Studio, last held a couple of weeks ago. It has been renamed Omnis World, http://www.omnisworld.co.uk/ so a change of title would be good. —92.16.110.221 (talk) 13:17, 1 November 2017 (UTC)

Dale Mitchell (ice hockey)

Hi, could you please refund Dale Mitchell (ice hockey) to me in some way? Then I can work on the article, so it becomes better and more reliable. Thank you - JonasJepsen (talk) 15:36, 1 November 2017 (UTC)

Do you realize that this was deleted twice at AFD? You can see a copy here: https://memim.com/dale-mitchell-ice-hockey.html. You can ask the deleting admin User talk:Ansh666 to userfy it for you perhaps. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 22:07, 1 November 2017 (UTC)

Declined. I don't see anything worth restoring, it's just an advertisement, and Wikipedia is not to be used for publicity or promotion purposes. You are welcome to start over, but before you do, keep the points in Wikipedia:Golden rule in mind. ~Anachronist (talk) 16:50, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

Samskip

We have collected new information from external sources to be placed on Wikipedia. We will put this in the draft version. —Samskip (talk) 09:36, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

Not done and will not be done We don't restore advertisement to main article space, particularly if there's no evidence that the company fails to meet any WP:CORP criteria for inclusion. Feel free to start over in draft space as recommended above. ~Anachronist (talk) 16:53, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

Pankaj Sahay

Pankaj Sahay is a senior political leader and the current national president of the political party Jai Prakash Janta Dal so there should be a Wikipedia Page under his name. Moreover the references put by me in his page was correct so when the information is right the page shouldf be there. —Neel Preet (talk) 12:45, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

Not done – this page was deleted as a blatant advertisement under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion and Wikipedia is not to be used as a vehicle for promotion. This does not necessarily mean a suitable article on this topic cannot be created. If it is a notable topic, e.g., multiple reliable, secondary, published sources that are entirely independent of the subject have written about it in substantive detail (not just mere mentions), then a neutrally written article may be possible. This one was written like a commercial. ~Anachronist (talk) 16:53, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

BeeBoard

Product was granted US Patent #9,753,489 B2 on Sep 5, 2017 and is significant in terms of the evolution of physical bulletin boards as it is the first combination bulletin board that combines physical and digital information. —Genbosmit (talk) 15:52, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

The patent only proves it exists, not that multiple third party news organisations have written about it. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 21:42, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
Done – as a contested proposed deletion, the article has been restored upon request.
...and after that, I moved the article to Draft:BeeBoard because it definitely isn't ready for main article space. ~Anachronist (talk) 22:15, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

That's a self-promotional puff-piece that misuses Wikipedia as a publicity platform. I'm not going to touch this although if another admin disagrees, they're welcome to restore it. But I recommend starting from scratch, and have a look at WP:Golden rule first. ~Anachronist (talk) 03:50, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Selena Zhao

Selena Zhao's page deserves to be maintained--she is a respected figure skater who barely missed qualifying for the Junior World's long program by 2 spots (or 1 point), and earned 3rd (medal position) in the long program at a senior international with a strong field, defeating two olympians (representing Japan and Australia). Although she only won the junior national title, this is in Canada, a very large and prominent country with a strong ladies field, as opposed to many other countries with weaker ladies fields. If you compare her personal best scores to many senior national champions in other nations, her scores are well above theirs. She is also a notable athlete-scholar, as she is attending Harvard University (graduating 2020) and likely has future accomplishments and articles that will continue to be published to substantiate the page. I understand that Wikipedia is attempting to streamline the site for extraneous pages but I truly would appreciate keeping this page, and really appreciate your consideration for a very borderline case. —65.112.8.193 (talk) 03:03, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Selena Zhao, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. ~Anachronist (talk) 06:53, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

  •   Not done There may be half a reference worth of significant writings. But most references seem to be minimal mentions, or contain material written by the subject. So notability is unproven. Not only that but there was almost no claim of any importance, and yet the tone was promotional. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:11, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

Wang Qun (actor)

I feel he was notable enough, and if undeleted, I'll spend time working on the article. —Timmyshin (talk) 13:04, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

AppyStore

The page was deleted with concern Fails WP:CORP. Sources only indicate that curated app stores are notable, not this app store. Sources also mention it in passing or as source of a report, as Indian Express. As per my understanding, the organization has been assumed to be an app store when it is actually a mobile application. The parent company for this application, Mauj Mobile, has been in existence for over 20 years. Other competitors similar to this like Flintobox, a new player in the market has a page on the encyclopedia. Please consider review and see if the page can be undeleted —RajkGuj (talk) 13:57, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
