Article creation for the new Bounce TV show "Act Your Age"
Could you make an article of the new show called Act Your Age (TV show)? It's a new show on Bounce TV that premiered on March 4, 2023 and have 16 episodes as on July 29, 2023. OWaunTon (talk) 12:12, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- I don't think a little-seen show like that is notable enough for an article. There has to be significant coverage in reliable sources. Also, I don't think Sammi takes requests. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 12:28, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- But she toke my Karamo request. OWaunTon (talk) 12:31, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- @OWaunTon There was significant coverage, and in that case I felt the article was viable. But Mvcg is correct. TV shows need to meet the GNG. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 14:30, 31 July 2023 (UTC)

Thorfinn
Sorry for not responding to the Thorfinn nomination. Did I miss something about the citation need. The citation I used was directly taken from an official source involving the creator's mention about how he was inspired by Olaf. I added an extra citation which might be more accessible.Tintor2 (talk) 20:56, 1 August 2023 (UTC)

- An expertly researched article, very nice job! MyCatIsAChonk (talk) (not me) (also not me) (still no) 00:26, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you, @MyCatIsAChonk! This was a lot of fun to do, though chasing down that Regardie's piece was an all-timer (thank you DanCherek!). I have 14 of the 16 articles for a Milton Grant GT approved, and the other two are awaiting a reviewer. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 00:28, 8 August 2023 (UTC)

- @MyCatIsAChonk WFXR and WWCW. They must be reviewed together by the same reviewer, but it's really more like 1.5 articles as half the content of the latter is transcluded from the former. (The stations simulcast for nearly 20 years.) Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 00:35, 8 August 2023 (UTC)

Hi! I noticed you added a short description to an article I've been cleaning up (Gradiva) and I was wondering if you have any thoughts on whether it's fixed up enough to remove the tone template? Appreciation and Request for research tips
Hey, thanks for reviving the Kagi article. Would you have some advice for researching on articles? Like how to find sources for articles with lacking sources, despite seeing it being talked so much about in blogs or social media or offline. Is there any specific museum or specific search engines I should be using? Greatder (talk) 18:26, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
- In this case, I'm so specialized in the topic that I know where I'm going before I start. I am also dependent on local newspapers at times. As you know, Medford and Southern Oregon more broadly is not a good market for available newspaper coverage. An article like KAGI, without the newspaper to sustain it, can be quite threadbare. On the image at Argentina, 1985
Hi, Sammie. I've seearched and was not able to find any free alternatives to File:Strassera y Moreno Ocampo.jpg that show the film's main characters as they actually were in 1985. It would also be minimal use as it's just one picture and it can be reuploaded in lower resolution. The image has been widely published previously. I was also able to find the publisher and copyright holder of the image, which is the newspaper Perfil. Would that be enough for it to qualify as fair-use in y our opinion? I don't see any specific item of the non-free criteria that this image doesn't satisfy, but I'm not entirely sure either. —El Millo (talk) 02:39, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
- It might actually be able to stay on Commons, @Facu-el Millo. See commons:Commons:Massive restoration of deleted images by the_URAA. I'm a bit confused because there are some contradictory arguments. You might want to look at the items mentioned in the Commons deletion request. Sorry to bother you, but perhaps you might review Template:Did you know nominations/Age of Consent (novel). I've responded to your feedback there. Thanks, 𝕱𝖎𝖈𝖆𝖎𝖆 (talk) 16:12, 8 September 2023 (UTC)

Thank You
Hi Sammi, thanks again for your help. I don't know what has happened to my ability to use possessives. I used to be able to just do them fine and then one day, boom, I don't recall the rules for them and even when researching them, I just doubt myself in applying them correctly. Thanks for pointing it out and again for your patience on the article. Andrzejbanas (talk) 02:27, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
Frank J. Wood Bridge
Hey Sammi, I have updated the article Frank J. Wood Bridge to include all of your recommendations for GA status. I have re-nominated the article for a second review, if you wouldnt mind taking a look? I have a sandbox page here stating what was completed for the second round, it's a copy of all your suggestions that were not complete on the first round. Feel free to copy those contents into another page for the GA review. Thanks so much for all your help and let me know if you have any questions. Jake Jakubowski Talk 05:38, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Jake-jakubowski I'm gonna let another reviewer take it this time; I think a second opinion would do the page more good than me reviewing it again. One thing I would like you to do is restore the newspapers.com/article/ URLs from before Special:Diff/1174711851 so that the articles are clipped. And I will note that I think there are too many level 3 headers with too little content in the History section. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 06:17, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- ok, sounds good. Jake Jakubowski Talk 06:23, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
