User page deleted?
Hello, just found out that my first article and page were tagged for misuse of Wikipedia. I'm trying to get help on the article I wrote, but may you please let me know how I can reinstate my user page? — SPMCC88 (talk) 22:16, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- The content of your user page was hidden by a mysterious, undocumented process which means that even admins cannot see the deleted content. We are not even allowed to know who did the hiding. I suggest make a complaint at the bureaucrats' noticeboard. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:04, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
Thank you, ill reach out to them to try and get this fixed. -- SPMCC88 (talk) 15:23, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- SPMCC88, "reach out to" is an horrible phrase. Please explain what is wrong with simply saying "ask". All your edits have been suppressed because you listed the names and dates of birth of Joshua Ramsey’s children - all minors. Are you one of those children? If you attempt to re-instate the article, safest thing is just to say "he has a wife and three children". — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:40, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
Keemstar, et al
Can you please explain why you've applied extended confirmation protection to this page as well as the associated redirects? You've left no rationale. — Buffs (talk) 22:39, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- Your question should have been "why did you allow the creation of the article in the face of this AfD decision?". At talk:Keemstar, which at the time was in draftspace, it was suggested "naturally it would have to have semi-protection or extended-confirmed protection" and given the troubled histories of all three titles: Keemstar, DramaAlert and Daniel Keem, I fully agreed. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:05, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
No, I meant what I said. This issue is not why you did it, per se, but why you didn't explain it in your rationale (literally leaving it blank). — Buffs (talk) 15:19, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- Very sorry, I usually do provide a word or two of explanation when I protect a page. I have no idea why I omitted to do so in these three cases. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:04, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
Could you please add a rationale so it is easier to understand why you've done so? Buffs (talk) 23:41, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
- Done. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:40, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
Sabina Knight
Hello! I am writing to ask for your help. I see that you deleted the page I submitted on Sabina Knight because of copyright infringement, but I thought I cited the sources properly. Would you be able to explain to me how to fix the submission so that it will be approved? I am a first-time Wikipedia contributor and thought I had followed the instructions, but clearly I am making major mistakes. I've read through the instructions several times and still don't see what I'm doing wrong. Thanks very much, Sarah Gilleman — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:6C64:7B7F:E8B4:DDE4:C23C:979B:443B (talk) 00:01, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- Count yourself lucky that I am talking to an IP address. Do you actually understand the difference between citing, ie. providing a link and wholesale copying? Try re-writing entirely in your own words. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:05, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- Wow... don't bite the noobs. Perhaps a refresher? "Administrators are expected to respond promptly and civilly to queries about their Wikipedia-related conduct and administrative actions and to justify them when needed." Cmon. You're an admin. Buffs (talk) 15:22, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hear hear, well said Buffs. Captainllama (talk) 23:35, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Buffs and Captainllama: please help me learn civility - please provide a revised wording of my message to Sarah which provides the same content but more politely stated. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:04, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- How about the same thing without the condescending remarks about citations or where you apparently consider IP requests beneath your dignity to respond to?
Count yourself lucky that I am talking to an IP address.Do youactuallyunderstand the difference between citing, ie. providing a link and wholesale copying? If not, let me know and we can talk about it.TryAny such issues could be resolved by re-writing this entirely in your own words. See WP:SUMMARY, WP:CITE, WP:COI, and WP:NPS for further guidance.
- This would be immensely better. You are unnecessarily coming across WAY more hostile than is necessary. I'm not suggesting that this IP's actions are correct (near as I can tell, they are 100% wrong). But as an admin, you should be much nicer about letting them know about their edits and how they can improve them. Your job as an admin isn't just technical deletions or protections, but explaining them in a manner that is appropriate for a new user. While the IP is reading those linked articles, perhaps you could browse WP:AGF, WP:ADMINACCT, and especially WP:BITE:
- "If you feel that you must say something to a newcomer about a mistake, please do so in a constructive and respectful manner. Begin by introducing yourself with a greeting on the user's talk page to let them know that they are welcomed here, and present your corrections calmly and as a peer. If possible, point out something they've done correctly or especially well."
- Buffs (talk) 16:52, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- "100% wrong" - the IP address has done just one edit - what is wrong with it?
- Sarah, do you feel bitten? What do you intend to do now? Would your action have been different if I had worded my message differently? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:05, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
- How would I know? I can't see what you wrote. I'm WP:AGF that what you did was correct. I'm saying that the manner in which you did so was wrong. Buffs (talk) 04:38, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
- After reading what you sent me, there's definitely copyvio involved (though not exclusively). Likewise, even though there were several whole sections of copyrighted text included (Example: the second two sentences were word-for-word from Amazon's listing), it's not like that couldn't have been easily rephrased and cited. Deleting a whole page because of copyvio concerns that could have been addressed seems unnecessarily harsh (especially from a draft). If I wrote 5 paragraphs of a draft and it was deleted beyond my recovery because a few sentences weren't cited, I'd be irritated. Buffs (talk) 17:08, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
Help with deleted article
Hi, you recently deleted an article for me, which I believe was because of a username conflict. I was able to change my username. I also saw a note that read "(G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion)". Can I ask if the G11 was based solely on my username conflict or if the article itself should be revised? Here is the original link to where you deleted it: User:DarrynMelerine/sandbox. Thank you, Thecr8tve (talk) 17:34, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- Your user name made very little difference to the deletion decision. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:05, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
Hi, could you restore my article so I could try to make edits and resubmit it for approval? Thank you. Thecr8tve (talk) 19:07, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- Text emailed. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:56, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
Would you be so kind as to explain why you applied ECP here? Given that there was no prior protection on the page, the spam is coming from a single user, and the page has less than 50 edits in the past 14 years, "Spam" seems to be a woefully inadequate explanation and doesn't meet Wikipedia:Protection_policy#Extended_confirmed_protection the criteria for the application of ECP. — Buffs (talk) 19:40, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- What action, if any, should I have taken and what explanation should I have given? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:05, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
I feel you're intentionally being obtuse. But, just so we're clear, there are a litany of things that should be done prior to ECP, a measure of last resort...
- Other forms of page protection
- A block of the sole problem user
There is ONE user performing such actions and there's no need for ECP as such actions don't meet the criteria for action on ECP. It's literally a total of 4 edits. You could have simply undone them and blocked the problem user rather than blocking editing rights for all noobies. Please stop applying ECP in this manner. Buffs (talk) 04:46, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
- Last "resort indeed"! As has recently been demonstrated here for a not yet extended-confirmed user to get a change done to an ECP protected page is a completely painless process. But blocking the problem user must surely be considered newbie-biting? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:40, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

- I gave you my reply here two days ago. I repeat: follow this link and follow the instructions there and I will email you the text. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:05, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
- Another requirement: Jimfbleak and I would both like to know whether it is fact or pure fantasy. You may tell the truth - you will get the text whether it is true or not. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:04, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
You have yet to give me the text for my sandbox. I opened my email, so whenever you're ready! Ugla'a (talk) 18:52, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
- So answer my question: is it fact or pure fantasy? And in addition tell me whether you did it totally on your own initiative or is there some bulletin board somewhere where people talk about the idea and publish links to their particular fantasy? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:40, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
It is kind of both. It is a fan season of the TV show Big Brother. — Ugla'a (talk) 20:41, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
- Your reply is distinctly inadequate but I won't persist. Text emailed. We do not want to see it anywhere near Wikipedia. Fandom is specifically for fan stuff and uses the MediaWiki engine. Go there you will probably find you can play to your heart's content with nobody complaining. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:56, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
Sorry that you weren't satisfied. It is a twitter game of big brother, and the voting chart is meant to keep track of how everyone voted. Also, sorry to bother you but could you email it to my new email? I don't have access to that one anymore. — Ugla'a (talk) 14:22, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
- "Don't have access to it any more" - but you only set it up in your preferences a few days ago! I have sent the text again to an address you used for an email to me. I have no idea whether that is the same or different from the one I used to send you the text using your "email this user" link here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:34, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Zeeyarah
Hello, Hope you are doing fine. i wanted to know the reason for deleting my article. you put the objection which is G4 which i this not applicable on my article. you said that i am writing the same material which i have wrote before but this time i didn't write the same. and i am writing about the company then how can i change the facts. i am not writing anything wrong. everything in my article is genuine and correct. there is a website of company in my article you can visit it and check the status of company or you cab also find it on Google. so please review my article one again and approve it and publish it. i will be very thank full to you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zee2019 (talk • contribs)

Sarmal
Hi and thanks for deleting Sarmal (clan)! However, I was wondering if you could remove the protection. The thing is, the article has been recreated several times, each time at a different title; this has made these recreations difficult to detect. If anything, I would want any possible future recreations to be at a title that I'm watching, and not at yet another one where it will take me months to notice. Also, I don't rule out a good-faith recreation by another editor: it's not an open-and-shut case so it's possible someone might one day actually find enough sources to pass notability. – Uanfala (talk) 20:51, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
- Done. Similarly, when I block yet another new account of some persistent troublemaker, I wonder: perhaps I should not block but watch and keep reverting their stuff until they get bored. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:40, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
Deshi people
The page Talk:Deshi people was not supposed to be deleted. Any discussion on the talk page didn't even take place and you deleted in haste. That is uncalled for. The page is about an ethnic community and it demands to be in the Wiki. Several authentic sources are there and were provided and more was in the pipeline.InspireTheWorld1 (talk) 18:26, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
- Forget the talk page for a moment; consider the article. Here's the deletion rationale: Unambiguous copyright infringement of https://scroll.in/article/864299/we-dont-want-to-be-identified-in-the-name-of-our-religion-say-assams-indigenous-desi-muslims, https://nenow.in/north-east-news/bihu-myriad-colours.html, https://www.thecitizen.in/index.php/en/NewsDetail/index/3/9889/Deshi-Janagosthi-Where-Culture-Merges-With-Religion). How is this mistaken, InspireTheWorld1? -- Hoary (talk) 05:18, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
- We seem to think that Deshi is synonymous with Desi, a term describing everybody in the Indian sub-continent. If you can show that Deshi has a much narrower meaning, you would need to explain that in any attempt to re-post. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:40, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
Regarding the deleted page Pootis
Greetings! I have come to you through the currently nonexistent page Pootis that you protected nearly 6 years ago. due to the "patent nonsense" that kept happening with that particular article being made multiple times. The reason why I am speaking to you is that I was going to make it a redirect to the Team Fortress 2 article, until I realized it was protected from creation, hence why I was wondering if you and the fellow admins can consider that "Pootis" be redirected to the Team Fortress 2 article. Many thanks! MindsEyeTHPS (talk) 01:27, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hmm it's just a meme, and I can't find any decent secondary coverage on it. — Drmies (talk) 01:29, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- So explain why. I do not see the word in the Team Fortress 2 article. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:40, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
Mary Louise Lobsinger
You deleted my article: draft:Mary Louise Lobsinger. This article was rejected by a person with no background in architecture. Mary Louise Lobsinger is a widely published scholar. Your deletion of this article is a case of misinformation from your part, and a case of discrimination against women. Many male scholars who are less published and less accomplished have Wikipedia pages. Please do more research before making quick assumptions and deleting my work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sebastianlopez329 (talk • contribs) 04:36, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- Your complaints are utterly ridiculous: person with no background in architecture - irrelevant; discrimination against women - totally unfounded. Constant Revert and deletion problem
Hello RHaworth, As I saw you in the history of Verdis, I was wondering if you could sort out the deletion situation. It's a perfectly valid redirect but someone called dab wolf has been removing the information of Verdis repeatedly in the article it redirects to. Is it possible you could sort this out? Thanks, StopCorruption — Preceding unsigned comment added by StopCorruption1 (talk • contribs)
- What do you mean by "the deletion situation"? Why have you not commented at the RfD discussion? Why have you not added a well-referenced section about Verdis to the Croatia-Serbia border dispute article? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:40, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

- Of course you can use the same references but possibly add better. The whole thing was spammy: "the gigantic and exhilarating world of big businesses" is not encyclopedick language. But try again via AfC if you must. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:40, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
Dragon Capital (Kyiv Ukraine)
Hello! You deleted the draft page Draft:Dragon Capital (Kyiv, Ukraine) saying it was an unambiguous advertising or promotion. — 15:43, 28 August 2019 RHaworth (talk|contribs) deleted page Draft:Dragon Capital (Kyiv, Ukraine) (G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion)
Dragon Capital is a well-known investment bank in Ukraine and has international banks and investment banks among their clients. That's why I considered creating this page. In the process of writing I tried to find as different information as possible and provided links to the information I found. And I'm sure it's not advertising or promotional, these are facts. Also there is a Wiki page of one more Dragon Capital, a Vietnam-focused financial institution Dragon Capital. That's the second reason why I decided I have to create the page about Ukrainian company and note it's based in Kyiv, Ukraine, because the only Vietnamese page may be confusing and may misinform Wiki readers. When I looked through the text of Vietnamese Dragon Capital I didn't find much why their article is not considered as unambiguous advertising or promotion: just a couple of sentences and very few reference links while I spent a couple of hours finding different references to written facts. I would very much appreciate if you explain what I can improve (actually I followed all the recommendations already while creating it) and let me change it and be approved. Restore Page
Good day RHaworth, you deleted the page Yung Miraboi Mark for promotional content. The page was tagged for census to decide either it should be deleted or not which it's still ongoing. I don't think the content is promotional & and if it's it the census have the right to say so on the debate. An IP has been removing the page according to Wikipedia that could be a violent act also called distrupting edits. The IP has to be blocked and page to be restored while AFD Open.-- Hyttgf975 (talk) 14:47, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi there RHaworth, Firstly, my apologies for being a newbie and probably getting things wrong. Indeed, I'm not even sure if this is the right place to send a message to you - I very much hope it is. I recently published an article of which I think the internal link is Draft:Joe Kelliher but I may have got that wrong. Mistaken removal of images

- I second that concern. I undid the removals at Supercapacitor and DNA one-off manually before I saw how extensive the pattern is here. — DMacks (talk) 18:33, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah, came here to say the same thing (example). It's more than a few, there is a long run of edits around 14:48 all with the same error. They need mass reverting. — SpinningSpark 21:22, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
- It looks like there are 48 edits that need to be undone. I just want to emphasize that this is clearly an oversight made in good faith, since it's a bit unusual for images on Commons to also have English Wikipedia description pages, and less so for them to need to be deleted. — Antony–22 (talk⁄contribs) 21:40, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
- Humble apologies to all of you. Even as I was doing it I was thinking "this is the first time I have used Twinkle for this job - is there something different that I have to do?" And there was! Hi, RHaworth! Just to let you know that I've restored Draft:Maureen Callahan (food writer), which you deleted several minutes after I'd removed the G13 tag – the page had been edited by a real human after the tag was placed, so is/was not eligible. Dog Ball Catching
Hello there RHaworth. While I understand your decision to delete my draft page as a hoax I want to assure you that it is not...and I would take no pleasure in either defacing Wikipedia or accomplishing a feat that thousands of morons have been able to do in the past - get a hoax published. My page was just my initial draft, I was planning on including pictures and links to videos as well as an explanation as to how the name was derived. It is sort of depressing that you flagged it as a hoax but if you could restore the draft pending my updates, I assure you that you will find that, although a bit obscure, this IS actually a game invented in 2018. (Yes, some of the rues are kind of stupid at the moment but have you ever seen the first rules of baseball?) If after my edits you still think it a hoax then so be it but in that case I would encourage you to come to our lake and see it in action, or at least watch the videos to which it is linked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jlopez3857 (talk • contribs) 14:38, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

Blackstone Brewing Co
Hello, you deleted the Blackstone Brewing Company wiki page. This was not advertising at all and discusses Nashville TN's oldest craft brewery, how it got started, the equipment it uses. The brewpub closed in 2016, so it is clearly not advertising that. The co-founder also died a few years ago. This is an informational page. Please reinstate. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smertie (talk • contribs) 15:51, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
- Ironically, the fact that I am a card-carrying CAMRA member made me more inclined to delete the page. In Britain we have hundreds of micro breweries almost all likely to be deemed non-notable. So yours got deleted as "just another micro-brewery". But I have restored it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:28, 12 September 2019 (UTC)

Deleted 'U Up? Podcast' page?
Hi -- I've been working to put together a page on a podcast I've been listening to for months and another wiki user kindly moved my attempt to draft mode. I'm pulling together more notable sources and have plenty of news articles to use as references on the page but looks like it just got deleted. What are my next steps if I want to continue working on the page? I'm happy to research proper formatting and page creation in more detail if someone was done improperly. Thank you. KnowledgeGoddessDC (talk) 19:57, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
- KnowledgeGoddessDC, (excuse me for butting in) don't worry - the draft is still there, you can work on it no problem - it's just the title in article space that has been deleted. Follow the link to your draft from the message on your talk page to access it, let me know if you have any problems. Cheers GirthSummit (blether) 22:08, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
Ahhh, thank you! That makes sense. I'll continue editing as the stronger more authoritative sources come in. I think I dug up a few others already. I'll check back in with the experts when I feel there's something more worthy of being published. Thanks all! KnowledgeGoddessDC (talk) 14:42, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
Roger Norris-Green
Why did you delete my article about Australian Western writer Roger Norris-Green? I do not understand. It was usual and neutral article about well-known author. When I'm reading this User talk page, you seem to be an arrogant and mean person. In an arbitrary way, you are deleting articles which other people have written. Just check out the page of The University of Queensland to see that Roger Norris-Green is very productive author, and written 138 novels since 1960s. https://www.austlit.edu.au/austlit/page/A51010?mainTabTemplate=agentWorksBy — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gari Jugarin (talk • contribs) 20:19, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
- My deletions are far from arbitrary. The vast majority of them have been triggered because someone else thinks deletion should be done. But I have restored your bio. Note that it stands very little chance of survival without reliable sources to demonstrate the guy's notability.
- Masumrezarock100, the conclusion is almost certainly going to be "run of the Mills & Boon-type author. But please let a regular reviewer decide that. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:34, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- Oops. It looked like ambiguous promotion to me. Sorry, if I was wrong. Masum Reza📞 11:41, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- It was not "wrong". I restored because Gari Jugarin moaned, not because your speedy tag was wrong. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:49, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
Hello, sir. I improved my article, can you check it out - thank you. I hope it's way better now. There are better references and style is more encyclopaedic. Kindly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gari Jugarin (talk • contribs) 20:28, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- You need to learn wikilinks and to sign with ~~~~. I find the Finnish connection fascinating. How come he has attracted attention there and had many of his books translated into Suomi? Cyprus rTMS
Hi. Draft:Cyprus rTMS which you'd speedy deleted as promo is back. I can't check if it is substantially the same - if it is, the editor hasn't learned anything from its previous deletion... — Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 22:10, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
- New version was different but, if anything, even more spammy. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:34, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
Did you overlook that the speedy deletion was contested? Or explain to me what warranted the deletion? This is actress that had press coverage and main role in tv series, which in my experience is enough to establish notability or if the notability is seriously questioned by somebody that seems at very least tobe a case for for an AfD rather than a speedy deletion.--Kmhkmh (talk) 21:59, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- It should not have been WP:A7'ed. Instead the redirect should have been restored. In the meantime, Kmhkmh, you should work on a draft in Draftspace – the subject likely passes neither WP:NACTOR nor WP:BASIC, and so a draft should be worked on until it is shown the subject passes the notability requirements. -- IJBall (contribs • talk) 05:06, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
@IJBall: Well it is always a bit in the eye in the eye of the beholder, but as far as I can see both WP:NACTOR and WP:BASIC are passed. As an actress she appeared in variety of well known TV series, in 3 movies (twice supporting, once lead) and has a main role in current fantasy series already running for two seasons. There is press coverage about her from different sources even in non-English ones.
In addition the redirect already existed in the AN, I see no reason to work in a draft space. Frankly I don't see any reason why I should use the draft space at all. I'm a contributor (and reviewer) for over 12 years now and if I prepare an article I'll rather do that in my user space. -- Kmhkmh (talk) 05:22, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
P.S. What should happen here imho is not the recreation of the redirect but rather the recreation of article and then you or anybody who might still doubt the notability can file a regular AfD, so that other editors/reviewers/admins may assess the case. By the way de.wp apparently has an article on her for over a year already (see de:Imogen Waterhouse) — Kmhkmh (talk) 05:28, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- Restored to Draft:Imogen Waterhouse. Note that the redirect from Imogen Waterhouse to Suki Waterhouse was never appropriate because she is only briefly mentioned in the article about Suki. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:39, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
Thanks. I took draft version and republished though after seeing that the draft route takes forever and doesn't allow to link the other language wikipedias. As stated above that the notability is given seems pretty clear from my perspective and if somebody really sees that differently despite her various tv and movie roles as well as her somewhat prominent modeling career (she had a vogue cover) and the press coverage, then he/she is free to file an AfD. -- Kmhkmh (talk) 12:50, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
P.S. Since the article ANS now, it might be a good idea to delete the draft version and remove it from the review queue, which currently has already over 4000 drafts pending. -- Kmhkmh (talk) 12:59, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- Kmhkmh, I deplore the use of wikijargon without a link to a definition. Please explain the terms AN and ANS. Please also explain what prevented you moving draft:Imogen Waterhouse to Imogen Waterhouse. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:16, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
Contested deletion
Hello. The Wikipedia page I wrote was deleted for promotional reasons. I added Matthew Driggs to Wikipedia due to his lawsuit against the Utah State Bar over their rules regarding legal advertising. I feel this meets the noteworthy clause of Wikipedia's guidelines. Can you tell me what I did wrong? Sorry for messing up. It's my first article on here. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adjohnbrock (talk • contribs) 23:32, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- You could try again via AfC. There is no need for (lawyer) in the title. What is noteworthy about a lawsuit that was eventually dismissed by the federal court? What reliable sources have commented on its significance? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:39, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
Deletion of Truffle Framework page
I would like to appeal the nomination and eventual speedy deletion of the "Truffle Framework" page. Truffle is an important tool in developing Ethereum Blockchain's smart contracts. I can add further citation from verifiable and credible sources. The reason given by User:GPL93 for deletion was, "the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia." That could be said of any product or development tool. There was no mention of the company that had produced the product in the text and the product itself is an "Open Source" product. Which means that the product is available to anyone for FREE.
Please reconsider the deletion of the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Khanadilaltaf (talk • contribs) 07:53, 14 September 2019 (UTC)

Hello, Could you please restore Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON) or possibly Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon to draftspace? Thanks, Benjamin (talk) 13:17, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- Benjaminikuta and Hoyadonis, I have restored it. I see no reason why Penn State Dance Marathon is not a necessary and sufficient title and certainly I can see absolutely no justification for a ridiculous / in the title. Make sure you explain what the (pan)hell the panhellenic bit of the title is all about because it is all Greek to me. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:16, 14 September 2019 (UTC)

- Interesting, how does that work, are they all merged together in the history somehow? Benjamin (talk) 12:43, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
- There are two problems with this history merge. 1) The articles had two different subjects. 2) Pages with parallel histories (even with the same subject) should never have the histories merged. I just spent about an hour going through the history to unmerge them. — JJMC89 (T·C) 01:04, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

My suspicion become stronger when i saw someone new upload this photo at same time you are working on your draft & you used that photo in your article. You are saying you don't know anyone then i guess this just a random coincidence, another coincident is your article has almost same text & same references! - (talk page stalker) @Tvincent88: Instructions on how to donate text to Wikipedia are located at: WP:DONATETEXT. However, even if you followed those instructions it is is unlikely we would use the material. It isn't often that we find content not on Wikipedia that is written in an encyclopedic way, which includes an adherence to WP:NEUTRAL. The article you copied from is not written in this neutral style, and we would not accept this content as is. We might (might) use it as a reference, but that's the most we would use it for. Regardless of the source of the content for the article, you should carefully read and understand WP:NPERSON before beginning to write this again. Further, please constrain your efforts in draft form until others have had a chance to look at it. Else, it's likely it would be rapidly deleted again as it was here. This is really for your benefit, as it will give you time to develop a nascent article into something we would move into article space rather than delete. If you have questions, let me know. InLobby
Dear Mr. Haworth, I am writing to ask you change the protection level of an article. In 2011, you deleted an article called "InLOBBY" because of the advertising and promotion. You also made it fully protected. Not long ago I got an assignment from my Writing Skills professor to write about a travel company, and I chose InLOBBY, as it is a very popular company in my country. However, when I looked for some information about it in Wikipedia, I found nothing. As I have gathered a great deal of information on this topic, I would like to write an article about it here. So I need you to change the protection level to be able to make it come into reality. Thank you in advance. Elenmelkonyan123 (talk) 2:15 PM, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
